Seacrest has paid for my silence on the tales of your bowling, and the lies that follow. But, since you felt the need to drag me into this, I will say this. A quick check of your USBC averages, shows that you averaged 195 in a short summer league. Not bad, but certainly not great. But, there are also some low averages, such as 167, 176, and 180. If you add them all up, I would imagine you would be in the 180-185 range, so I'm not sure about what it is that you are bragging.

You average 195 ONE TIME, in a short season, and you brag about how awesome you are.

I didn't brag at all here, in fact I predicted that YOU would say my 196 (not 195) average in the latest league I completed was not that good. That was an easier prediction than when I predicted the White Sox would finish behind both the Tigers and Indians last season. You quote averages from years ago when I first began bowling and didn't even have my own ball. So you have a higher average....okay, congratulations. As I said I had not bragged in this thread even a little bit, so where you get that from is a mystery. The only time I ever "bragged" about any bowling accomplishments, was when I had a 700 series for the first time and when my team won it's league title (back to back years). I posted that in things to brag about that nobody cares. I guess I'm not allowed to be happy about winning a league or throwing a 700 series and I supposed someone did care too much for me to post it there.....my bad.

Oh and it looks like you owe Seacrest a refund.

This thread was four pages of hazing/pranks discussion, and you threw that out there, completely unsolicited. But, it wasn't a brag?

Thursday at 5:00.

Now, go and sit down, little boy.

Chus, you must have ridden the short bus to/from school....the mention of me having a high bowling average came from boyd, not me. In fact I thanked him for calling my averages high as there are some (especially YOU) who would differ with him on that.

Next time try to know what you are talking about before entering into a thread.

If you remove the part after it as you did where I said that it was my highest average, but that some (like Chus) would maintain that it's not that good. I have improved enough to know that I'm not that good. I may throw a 300, I may average 200 one season soon, but I bowl in a league where there are over 40 guys with averages over 200 and I have come to the conclusion that I'm never going to be really exceptional in Bowling. I will have some exceptional nights now and then and when I do, I'll try to remember not to mention them here, since that seems to really bother some people.

Why is it that the dumbest posters are always questioning the intelligence of others?

the mention of me having a high bowling average came from boyd, not me.

He was talking about you pranking others, and thus distracting them. You threw out the 196, which of course, was incorrect. And then you tried to say you weren't bragging.

In fact I thanked him for calling my averages high as there are some (especially YOU) who would differ with him on that.

Because it's true. Admitting that would shatter your fragile ego, and your completely unwarranted superiority complex, but facts are facts.

Says the guy who dropped the following:
Quote:
Absolutely no hazing of any physical kind. Practical jokes with teammates in College. Just pranks though and everyone got involved and everyone was a victim of the pranks now and then. Nobody was ever physically harmed at all though. My favorite was baby powder blown under the door into a teammates room. It looked like it had snowed in the room.

We didn't haze anybody, except for the times that we did.

If you read the first page of this thread, you would have seen how I was highly critical of Jonathon Martin and detailed some of the awful things he did. He went FAR beyond innocent pranks and is just a bad guy.

Martin went too far with the pranks? D'oh.

steve, if anyone including my best friend on earth fucked with my bowling ball like that and then stood there laughing about how funny it was and tell me how i should man up and take a joke, i would kick their ass. im sure everyone else was laughing, not at how funny the prank was, but at how big of an asshole you must be for doing something like that.

btw 205 this year, off to a decent start for a change.

196 isn't a bad average. Its pretty good. However, in most competitive men's leagues it would be in the bottom half of the league for sure. Even in most mixed leagues it might not even be top 10.

Its kind of like a .280 average in baseball, or a 93 QB rating. Its pretty good, but its not going to be anywhere near the best in the league either.

The love for message board tough guys remains. Again, easy to be tough and talk about what you would have done, tougher to walk the walk than talk the talk. No-everyone was laughing because it was funny. It's not as if I put crazy glue in the ball and he was hurt somehow. It's amazing how people are getting their panties in a bunch over a harmless prank.

As for your 205 average, very nice. You risk Frank and Chus calling you out for bragging about it, but I just see it as a guy who's feeling good about reaching a level he feels pretty good about. Like a runner that establishes a new low in his/her personal time for a race. It may not measure up to what someone else has done, but if it's your personal best to date, no reason not to feel good about it. Congratulations.

Another swing and a miss. Boyd was talking about your childish pranks. You decided to brag about your average, which of course, you got wrong. It must suck to be you, who peaked in high school/college.

If Seacrest wants his money back, I will gladly refund it.

I'll do as I wish and if that bothers you....well, that's just a lil bonus.

If there really was Cheez Whiz in the finger holes of your ball, you wouldn't be able to throw it. His claim that the entire mess was cleaned up in two minutes, is what tells me it never actually happened.
