The Stars' new sweaters blow. They look just like those awful St. Patrick's Day bootleg sweaters that stupid bros wear:
Same shade of green, same white-black-white sleeve stripes. The only difference is the Hawks bootleg has a couple extra black and white stripes.
The Stars look to me like they've looked for about the past five or six years now: a thoroughly mediocre team that through sheer effort and Kari Lehtonen will win games they shouldn't win, but more often than not just win or lose games 3-2 and go to shootouts a lot. Things will get better now that there's new management and there are a lot of talented rookies coming up, but for now this looks like it'll be the last season of their illustrious Let's Finish Ninth Every Year era.
Yes, the arena is fairly dark, which is not assisted by all the empty seats, which are a medium-dark grey. The seats that were filled seemed to be filled with Hawks fans.
Nice to get a win when getting that outworked. Four assists for Sharp? Damn, dude. Onward to the perpetual bumblefuck that is the Oilers!
