Teens Create New Game Called “Knockout” Targeting Homeless & Unsuspecting People Killing Three

A violent new game has hit the streets of several cities across America. The game which has been dubbed “knockout” involves teens going up to unsuspecting people and delivering what they call “one hit quitters”. There has been at least 3 reported deaths from these deadly knockout games.

The teens interviewed in one clip by CBS 2 say the teens are not acting out in anger, but are instead acting out in fun as a macho thing.

A 2011 editorial in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch likened the game to behavior described in “A Clockwork Orange,” the 1962 dystopian novel about the violent exploits of disaffected youth in author Anthony Burgess’ vision of near-future England.



A couple months ago, 2 13-year-old’s and a 14-year-old were charged with murdering a man in Hoboken, New Jersey.

In the video below an interview with a 16 year-old girl who was knocked out by a young man. She describes the incident which was caught on surveillance camera.

The criminal, Michael Ayoade, was caught by police. His defense was that she deserved it because she had an “unfriendly face” that he was “intimidated by her”.

But don't you dare hit any of the kids doing this crap. No, a time-out is what they need, or perhaps a good lecture.... Being that these are teens doing this, chances are they will not be tried as an adult (unless they are 17 or older) and only get a juvenile record (insignificant really) for this. But this is the kind of crap that happens when parents don't teach their kids that there are consequences for bad behavior.

I seriously doubt that the punks doing these crimes have anyone at home to discipline them, regardless of whether it's a swat on the arse or some other type of punishment.

Great parents can have bad kids and bad parents can have great kids. At some point we all make our own decisions. I don't know many teens that are excited about listening to advice from their parents.

That's very true. But more often than not, good parents raise well mannered, polite kids that go on to have a productive, successful lives. While lousy parents raise troubled, out of control kids that tend to struggle later in life.

While that may be true and a lovely thought, there are unfortunately plenty of other kids who are not raised in such an environment that you and your kids will have to deal with from time to time. The kids that are going around "knocking out" (and killing in a few cases) these homeless people are past the point where love and tenderness will make an impact. You try to appeal to them to stop this using love and tenderness and you will get a big and they will not stop. But show them a consequence they will not want if they engage in these crimes and the crimes may stop. These kids are cowards. They travel in a group and pick out weak, almost defenseless targets. If they come to the realization that there will be real consequences for what they are doing, they will probably stop it. You are not going to reason with these kids based on a sense of compassion for others. They have none. They need to fear what the consequences might be for doing it.
