i have hardly ever used the web browser but twice i've tried to use it to watch some music fests that were streaming online (Coachella, Pitchfork Paris) through various sites...for instance Pitchfork , i could get to their site fine but the embedded video stream was not visible and i couldn't click on it. From what i understand there are some plug-ins that the PS3 browser does not have/support? so there is basically no way around something like this ? just wanted to see it on a larger screen and hear it through my stereo

but YouTube, when i go to the youtube app i get the same thing.....page loads fine, i get search results, etc. but the videos are not visible. now i know this should work since it's an actual app, i don't know what's wrong. and yes i know i'm a moron, just help me out here

i should say that i did make sure the software is up to date an all, it kept bugging me to perform a system update and i figured maybe that would do the trick but same thing after the update

Check your settings. Make sure Allow outside media (or something along those lines) is checked
