Jon Stewart as himself from the end of The Larry Sanders Show was a great, great character.

Gary Shandling (too old now) would have been a great choice.

I remember hearing John Stewart for the first time at Oktoberfest in Milwaukee in about 1992. I had no idea who he was and I thought his stand up was hilarious.

Stand up in Milwaukee?

You must have him confused. He was handed the job at the Daily Show only because he's jewish and his only prior work experience was at MTV where he was REJECTED

Yeah,so you are saying that's shocking? It doesn't shock me that people take care of their own. There are a lot of funny Jewish guys in Hollywood that would have done a better job. I saw Stewarts act, don't like it.

Stewart was playing an Octoberfest. That is almost the exact opposite of being handed something because of ethnicity.

I'm not sure how many guys here actually know about your past as a stand-up comic, jimmy. Did the Jews run you out of that business?

It can only be considered a true "pizza" if the crust is comprised of pre-shaped, bite size nuggets filled with imitation cheese product.

back to the point, it really is a complete fucknut argument to create hierarchies in pizza style. They are each fairly different from each other and different from what is considered pizza in Italy. All the styles are great.

It's even fucknuttier to think that Chicago style should be limited to only occasional consumption. I suppose there is very little room left in your stomach's after eating a big bag of dicks.

Except St. Louis. St. Louis pizza is scientifically proven to be the worst.

Wrong. Cleveland has the worst pizza.

Try the pizza in El Paso, Texas sometime. Or don't.

They actually had a segment on the news one time about a restaurant that actually had good pizza. The guy was from New York, so you know it's good. He actually had the water shipped in from New York to be authentic to the crust.

Coors Light used to claim they used all Rocky Mountain water til someone asked how they get the water to the St Louis brewery

That was the same week I was down there when some dude I'd never heard of named Eddie Guerrero died. He was from El Paso and you would have thought the Pope was dead. It was all any news report was talking about.

New York pizza and Eddie Guerrero.

I can't stand Jon Stewart, but I agree with him that deep dish Pizza blows. I prefer a good thin crust. My favorite was a place that has been closed for years on North Ave in Elmwood Park called Capezies. These days, Salernos, Aurilleos, & Nancys are our faves.

The implied part of this is also that the only kind of pizza in Chicago is Chicago style, which is obviously untrue.

I was at a neighborhood party and a native New Yorker with the accent just scratched the surface on a conversation that was going to lead to a NY superiority discussion. I cut him off at the pass by breaking into my NY accent and started talking about how the superior pizza and bagels are due to tap NY water being so amazingly different. I had the house rolling after he admitted that was what he was going to say. It was the same night as the Mc Nugget challenge so I was already feeling my most interesting man in the world status.
