That Boers kid went to Purdue? No wonder he's such an asshole. Do they have a major in hostility at that place?

Happens you live in a cow pasture for 4 years at the 4th best university in Indiana.
That beats most of the fans at IU basketball games who use it to escape a cow pasture for 2 hours. At least Purdue offers a way out after four years. Being an IU fan is a life sentence.

hey JORR idk if you check out Curious Hair's blackhawks gameday threads.... but in that thread i went about this roundabout way to ask if you've got any old op ivy / rancid / "tim who? uhhh i know him only as 'lint' thank you very little" stories from back in the day.

did you ever end up @ that quintessential "straight edge" LA punk rock scene spot that everyone loved in the late 80s / early 90s and happen to catch a young pre-rancid lint-n-the-boys as op ivy b4 the boy became a time bomb?

or like, was that whole early 90s cali pop punk / lookout! records thing just a flash in the pan in JORRville?

I kind of like their little battle. Neither backs down, neither forgets and they are both unapologetic in their positions

Those Tim Armstrong bands are a little after my time. I've got no beef with Rancid but they seemed like they were trying to be British. I like his wife's band the Distillers better than any of them anyway.

Pretty much everything I've ever heard on Lookout! sounds like a Ramones tribute to me.
