Have had a good chunk of time to play around with this today...so far...

What I like:

The dashboard is sleek
Smartglass integration is very much improved over the 360
The guide for the TV is pretty sweet (I like it much better than my DirecTV guide)
The games I've played (Forza, Madden, AC4) look pretty sweet
Game DVR is great

What I don't like:

Having to install the game on the hard drive but still needing the disc to play it (thanks people bitching about always online!)
The TV seems to stutter a bit when it's snapped, making it pretty much useless (maybe this was because I was installing a game at the same time, will need to test further)
No HBO Go app (yet)

You should've waited. I know where we could get one of these for 80% off on Black Friday.

Since IMU isn't here, anyone who gets an XBone instead of a PS4 is nuts.

Yes they were.

Ps1 came out the same time as Nintendo 64, in 1995 or around there. Xbox came out in 2001 and competed with Ps2.

You might want to brush up on the definition of 'always'.

The Dreamcast was better than the PS2, but sadly that didn't help it.

What you talkin' bout, KD? I was a Dreamcast guy myself but lets not let nostalgia cloud our judgement.

Still wish that Powerstone would make an appearance this gen, but no.

i'd say the dreamcast was better than PS1 but...it came out after it so that should be expected. however, what dreamcast had the potential to be was basically xbox before xbox and they just didn't have the support.

but jesus christ do i miss NBA2K and NFL2K. excellent games. oh, and sonic...that was outstanding.

 @ BigFan

There's no way the Dreamcast was better than the PS2. Sure it was pretty good- I enjoyed the Nights game- but PS2 had a LOT of epic games: FFX, FFX-2, FFXII, Dragon Quest VIII, Mortal Kombat Armageddon, God of War I & II, Devil May Cry, GTA III...

Obviously the games were better on Playstation, but the Dreamcast system itself was better.

Forgive me since I haven't owned a Madden game since 2005/Xbox, but when did Nantz and Simms become a thing?

I'd like an option to turn on a WZ sourced commentary track instead of those guys...

it did have a dial up modem connection and a keyboard accessory. but unfortunately we never got to see how great it could've been. i didn't like the memory card though.

Madden games should have Moose & Goose. However, I don't think the Turducken would make it past the coin flip.

Hardware wise?

Dreamcast was less powerful, the control pad lacked a 2nd analog stick, it didn't have a DVD player and thus lacked storage space....

Dial up modem and keyboard? For what, Typing of the Dead?

And I seem to remember that there were keyboard mouse abilities for the Ps2, at least with Unreal Tournament at launch....maybe?

I still play my dreamcast. Haven't touched my PS2 in years. Loved loved loved San Francisco Rush 2049

dreamcast had it first, and was the first home console to have a functional and high speed modem, i believe. but i think you may be right about the other hardware of ps2 being superior.

Wikipedia offers a chart for comparison:

Based on that obviously the XBox was the best system of that generation because it had the best specs. Hell the Gamecube was better than the PS2.

Two questions:

Can they update this thing to play 360 games?

Is it the same xbox live account across both platforms?
