They always have the weekday hosts record "Bears Win!" and "Bears lose" so they can play them after the game on Sunday. I'm surprised they didn't have a Bernsy and a Mully record "Rose is hurt!" for an occasion like this. They could have started airing them last night.

At the very least, no sound drop from Big Voice Guy? He has recorded a drop for just about every other possible sports event, but not this one?

Honestly the worst thing about this injury is we have to listen to Bernstein talk about knees.

Its so fucking miserable listening to him chastise any caller who brings up their knee injury and then listen to him spend segments talking about his.

Just heard a promo on Fox Sports Radio where Lincoln Kennedy used Rose's injury as proof that guys aren't as tough as they used to be. He didn't even get hit!

To think this is just another guy getting over a simple injury is a huge mistake.

first, rose why should we expect him to heal on the quicker side? He will sit as long as he feels anything even different. He did it before, why think he wont do it again.

second, mentally this is not just an injury. You just cant take off the time he did, have the questions, go through the circus and now have this as a simple issue.

third, your team now needs to no longer think about a new path, but its time to get firm quotes on the equipment and materials to build the new path.

If he comes back in 6 weeks all healthy, great, you didnt lose anything, but some hard work, but the plans need to be created now on which way you are going as an organization.

Going into the offseason the Bulls have to be looking for someone else to build the team around. Rose cannot be that guy.

There had to be some reason he all of a sudden, right on his own cue, went all-world in his third year - to the point where he even precisely predicted that he would win the MVP.

California is nice, but I surmise that players might offseason there for things other than the weather, the broads, and the shops.

honestly i think it was coincidence... or something less then that. he is always talking high of himself, so that doesnt mean anything

his mvp year... he simply tried harder then everyone that year. lebron was trying too, but wasnt playing his best ball. had lebron been what he should have, rose would have never got that mvp

LeBron wasn't getting MVP that year unless he averaged 50 ppg. That was the year after the "Decision".

Probably not but it would dependson what he was using.

It's probably just a lot of high intensity miles in a short amount of time.

but who?

Zach Randolph and Granger are unrestricted this summer. Melo?

2015 Love and Aldrige are availble.

I don't have an answer to that. It would probably have to be a trade unless they believe being the 2005 Pistons is a winning strategy.

they do believe that; they tried it under Skiles, remember?

They still somewhat believe in that model as evidenced by them sticking to this core.

I think they wanted the star but there is a certain type of star they want. That's why they went after Kobe in 2007 (I believe) and that is why they went after LeBron and Wade. They just failed. They don't want the Carmelo types though. Since then only Harden has been traded and they didn't have the assets or ability to pull it off. They'll have a lot more flexibility this summer. They may even have a late lottery pick depending on how bad the Bobcats are.

Rose always has an injury it seems. Knee, toe, neck, knee, heart, etc. I think derrick needs to grow up more than he needs to heal. The standing ovations every few months for ANOTHER Rose comeback are getting old.

3 and out against the Pacers or Heat. This bunch has no chemistry.

And I love him but Pax has to go. Gar too.

Yeah just heard this on the WGN morning news (TV for those that might shit themselves if they thought I was listening to 720AM).

How come he's not sitting on this one?

Quote:
And he had answered question after question about the future for the Bulls and Rose. Then he got fired up.

“We're the Chicago Bulls,” Thibodeau said. “We have one goal and that's to win.

FIRED UP!

Quote:
“I'm not concerned about that,” Thibodeau said. “I think his mental toughness is going to serve him well.

ummm....

Given his history of not exactly wanting to get back from injury ASAP even if it were possible for him to return this year this isn't exactly surprising news

Bulls guard Derrick Rose underwent successful surgery to repair his previously torn medial meniscus in his right knee on Monday morning. The surgery was performed at Rush University Medical Center by Chicago Bulls head team physician Dr. Brian Cole and team physician Dr. Chuck Bush Joseph. Rose is out for the remainder of the season.

Hope you placed the bet before the Bulls announced this.
