Postgame caller calls in and two different times talks about "The Lion" WR's without being corrected. Wayne answers him by also referring to today's opponent as Detroit (and not sarcastically).

THIS is postgame coverage in the city of Chicago or is it Mayberry?

The entire post game was doomed from the start with OB calling in sick.

How come none of full timers ever work post game?? After the Packers games they have their big guns on the air on the Milwaukee station.

God forbid Teary has to hem and haw from his ISDN line after an actual sporting event.

I may have been the only one that caught it but they had one of those promo post game spots with him saying the bears won and were 7-5!!! It quickly got dumped to commercial...it may have only been online as they dont have the dump delay.

I thought Wayne was pretty good because he at least seemed to see the game as everyone else did.

The postgame show with Doug sucked, however. Mark Grote shouldn't be there - he contributes nothing. He's ok with Rosie on Saturday mornings, but for the Bears postgame show...no way. His schtick just doesn't work in this format. Alex Brown at least is a former player, but he talks a lot and doesn't say much.

This is the type of game that should have been a classic Doug and OB postgame show, filled with vitriol and anger. Instead, it was a mish-mosh of incoherent thoughts. Doug needs OB to get him angry and agitated; Grote and Brown don't provide that.

Once again, piss poor programming by 670 The Score. They have stiffs like Grote and McKnight pulling big time shifts, contributing nothing.

They are lazy, the score that is. No competition other than flagship.

How in the hell does Alex Brown have a broadcasting job? For the love of God, being able to speak clearly should be a per-requisite. Mark Grote? Bears postgame? Really? WTF?

Alex brown is fucking awful for this show. He has no fire and passion and is still boys with half the god damn team.

I thought Wayne Randazzo was Drinky for about 30 minutes, while I was listening to the post game show. I didn't realize it until he said his name.

doug said OB was still feeling under the weather and passed along his regards to all the listeners. Although he did NOT say he expected to be back next week. I'm kind of worried actually. Life without Doug and OB will not be the same.

I'm sure they all have contracts that make sure they never have to suffer the indignity of working on a Sunday, here in a radio format where many of the events they cover happen on Sundays. I mean, Spiegel, Boers, and half the morning show can't even be trusted to be there on important weekdays, let alone weekends.

Oh no, didn't a Packers postgame host die of falling off a ladder???

???

I remember the days where North would have to work both Thanksgiving and the day after. They were fun shows...until he outed a bookie on the air.

Didn't North do postgames from Scoreheads' (not JohnKirk) back yards?

North was working the Friday after Thanksgiving. There are afternoon games that day due to the holiday so North was giving his picks. He said something along the lines of "if you don't have a guy you can look for _____ at _______ and he will be able to handle your need" except in his typically exaggerated manner. I'm not entirely sure if someone in law enforcement was listening and made things uncomfortable or if ______ just decided that the possibility of someone in law enforcement was listening and that he would have a little talk with Mike about his indiscretion.

When Cheryl Scott did that call-in to promote the thing at the bar, she was all like "teehee you guys should come!" and Dan was like "yeah, I would, but I have to make dinner for my children" in a tone that suggested Cheryl Scott must have been fucking high if she thought Dan would go to some chintzy bar thing with Leery on his own time. And that's basically why the weekday guys don't do postgames.

That was probably just Dan's way of letting Cheryl know that he's not available and/or in the market for a slampiece.
