The Great Heineken debate-

do they make the beer "stinky" to appeal to some who think they are drinking a great beer? As it is factual info that the green bottle doesnt filter as much UV light as the brown, so if they are truely offering a "hoppy" beer, why would they use a green bottle?

Personally hate the skunk smell, thus never buy Heineken.

Skunk smell is for other things

I feel the same way. I played Basketball in Elmhurst with a team that would always go to the Spring Inn after games and no matter what we had to drink before it, we always had a Heineken to finish off the night. Greg Licht (He and Mark Licht were owners of J.C. Licht paint & Wallpaper stores before selling to Benjamin Moore) would buy a round of Heineken for the team. But I could never get used to the skunk smell. Always felt like I was drinking beer well past it's expiration date.
