Next round would probably be going to Carolina. Not that thats an ideal scenario, but wayyyyyyy better than going to Seattle.

I could easily see SF having to go to Seattle as the wildcard team. I also like SF better than any other team in the NFC to beat Seattle at Seattle. Of course they will not be favored, but they have the best chance of winning that game!

So, yes, Bears will be dogs in Carolina and SF would be a dog in Seattle, but imagine hosting a NFC Championship game at Chase Field!

Either way, 2015 Super Bowl in AZ will be awesome!

Which could mean, as you said, a home game in round one and going to either Carolina or New Orleans in round two. If it's Carolina they could go to the NFC title game.

Now, they'll get killed by Seattle in my opinion. Still, it will be a fun little ride.

People in the media like to say stuff without thinking about the scenerios. Winning a home game and beating Carolina on the road isn't impossible for the Bears.

Who knows? Maybe Wilson gets hurt and they beat Seattle. Then they play the Broncos in a blizzard NY Super Bowl where Manning can't throw and they win that game. It's the NFL, baby. Shit happens.

This isn't the typical Lovie team limping down the stretch with a slightly-above-average but hurting defense, and a putrid offense. Remember, we traded in that model for one that matches other teams with high-powered offense and defenses that just need to get a few stops throughout the course of the game. This is different. Now we get to see if it pays off.

Very well stated! Hopefully,the Defense improves a wee bit. I saw them blitz and still couldn't close down on a Jason Campbell last Sunday. That's pretty bad. Hopefully Briggs can come back.

Here's another weird thing about the NFL. It just so happen that this year was the Bears turn in the schedule rotation to play the AFC North. Well, the Bears went 4-0 against that division. Not a bad division, but who's to say that we'd to as well against another AFC division. Also, the Bears just happen to get the two best teams in that division at home (Bengals and Ravens) and the two bad teams in that division on the road (Steelers and Browns). Say that's reveresed, we could be 2-2. Cuz playing the Ravens and Bengals at their place is different and the Bears barely beat both of those teams at Soldier Field.

Like I said, the NFL is weird. Sometimes their is not much difference in that 7-9 team that misses the playoffs and the 10-6 team that makes it.

Not to mention injuries. I think the Packers would have this division clinched right now had it not been for Rodgers injury.
