I happen to watch more Shea Mac than I ever intended to yesterday and I felt like I was watching a replay over and over.

he gets locked up, then tries to hand fight while being pushed backwards? Whats the point?

can they just run him as wide as he need to go in order to get free! if he needs to go 15 yards deep to not lock up, OK, do it. he is bound to get 2 sacks a game if the QB holds the ball for more than 5 seconds, he can get there via the Hannibal route to the passer!

They just need to do something big with this guy before they cut him loose and he ends up finding a niche elsewhere.

Yeah, I've been screaming this from the mountain top since after the first game. Nobody listens!!!

THEY. DONT. HAVE. THE. PERSONNEL. TO. RUN. A. 3-4!!

They don't have the personnel to run a 4-3 either, but they do it!

I will run a 3-1-3-4

1= Shea just not getting locked up. he should be stunting around everyone. he should start from the LDE and end up attacking from the right. Sure most of the time he wont get there until the play is done but if this Bears team wins a division....its because of 99! LOL A home playoffs game is worth about $15M to a team.

2 years = 19 tackles. ugh

like I said, trade our crap for your crap to a 3-4 D team

I am still liking the trade of McClellin to the Jets for WR Hill. They were taken fairly close to each other. They were both athletic guys who weren't as high on draft radars until after the season. Both would be going to better situations for their skills.

Shea Mac should be moved to LB. He has no chance of playing DE next year for the Bears.

I think he has very little chance of playing anywhere for the Bears. He has been THAT bad and really not flashed anything to deserve playing time (other than knocking out Rodgers, of course).

1/3 of his tackles are sacks! Thats a selling point!

The Patriots are just waiting for the Bears to release him so they can make him into some H back 3rd down guY!

Atleast with a 3-4 the Blitzers are disguised n the qb has to think. we should play a 3-4 base d.

Put him at safety. He can't cover anybody but neither can the other 2 stiffs playing there now. At least he can tackle.

The sad part is when Mac got drafted and I saw the tape on him,I thought he looked tiny for a NFL D_linemen. I thought for sure he was OLB material.

it seems so obvious that it won't happen, but i think they try him at LB this off-season and if it's not working out at all (I.E. he can't even make the roster as a backup LB) they'll cut him 2014 pre-season. I can't imagine they'll let him keep struggling at DE for a 3rd season

There isn't a chance in hell that Shea is a starting DE for the Bears next year.

Goodbye

This guy couldnt even catch an immobile Nick Foles last night....and seeing him next to Foles, I think he is closer to 6 ft!

guessing this guy has every dollar he has made, he will get one more year with someone next year, so he will make $15 mill, because of a first round $5 mill bonus.

That goes a long way in Idaho or North dakota

McClellan most likely couldn't make the Bosie St. roster currently.

I could see Bellichek getting him, putting him on Special teams for a year, while he juices him up and teaches him how to pass rush, then the guy has a great year!

He tried to revive Mark Anderson too. It's not going to happen.

Andersen had 10 sacks the one year he played in New England and he only started one game. Not bad for a 3rd down guy

99 wishes he was Anderson

Anderson couldn't play the run to save his life (similar to McClellin) but he could rush the passer (unlike McClellin).
