I now have facts to back up how bad Leary is.

I contest Finfer holds back the onslaught of lower ratings for a time better than Leary does and thats an even cheaper option.

Know what I mean ROD?

Arrow is still pointing up for Silvaddle, and down for B&B. Like I said, its not a question of if Silvaddle will have higher ratings, its a question of when.

Still though, it was not before the end of the year as I thought. Though the gap was closed considerably, I've still lost the bet and RFDC can PM me with a SFW sig that I will keep thru the end of January.

Congrats on the win. It ended up being close, but a win is a win.

Okay.......so you're on Team RFDC. Congrats.

I'll stand by my Leary/middays opinion which is fact.

Put me down for Team Peoria. No way this is all on Spiegs. We had post after post on how bad Loho was filling in for Mac. People where fed up with LOHO and looking for other options. Spiegel didn't help, but no way he was the cause.

Leary is like the flu and Spiegs is the runny nose. Ideally you dont want either but you can get by with a runny nose. The flu just ruins everything and shuts you down.

What were the numbers last ratings compared to this one?

I've never really enjoyed listening to Speigs but I can tolerate it.

Larry is instant PTFB material...

Your membership application for Team RFDC would have been rejected anyways. :P

But there is more responsibility on Spiegel. It's his show.

I found the numbers for the spring, but not the summer.

Francis has a point.

In men ages 25-54, the prime advertising demographic for sports talk radio, WSCR ranked fourth in the market with a 4.7 share (percentage of Chicago listeners tuned into the station); WMVP was 16th at 2.4. WSCR ruled in morning drive, as "Mully & Hanley" were third at 6.8; "Mike & Mike" were 10th at 2.9 on MVP. In the afternoon, "Boers & Bernstein" were second at 5.2, while "Waddle & Silvy" were 16th at 2.6 in the first three months of their new time slot for WMVP.

Maybe the bigger story here is Waddle and Silvy are inching the gap on Boers and Bernstein.

B&B were well ahead at this time last year.

Bad lead in show screwed it up. They will be back now that Mac has returned.

B&B ALS... that is how you do it.

That may very well be true Hank.

Time will tell.

Neither Spiegel or Loho have a following that attracts listeners to WSCR. They are no different than any of the bench guys. If Mitch was smart he would break up B&B & Mac & Meat & pair Berns with Rozner & Mac with Boers.

Not that I would want it but the genius move would be Mac and Bernsie. It wouldn't last long but they would rule radio until Mac killed him on air.

That would be a meter mover, right there.

Also might cause a McNeil relapse.

Might make McNeil interested and interesting again. The version of him with Speigel or Finfer is awful.
