Still waiting for a report on what happened to Jordan Mills after the start of the second half. hell, Joe Buck still thinks Evan Britton is in the game as an extra blocker.

Bears had two seperate injuries that required the sideline reporter to inform the TV audience.
These guys don't have a guy in their earpiece telling them somebody is injured?

Also, the Bears offense didn't miss a beat with Britton in there either.

Mills has a lot of time to recover now, so it's not a problem. He sure doesn't have to worry about playing in the Pro Bowl....

To be honest with you,I couldn't tell you on the O_Line who had a good season. Can any of us?
I go by the "old saying": If the name isn't called,he's doing his job". So who's to say those Rooks did any better than Matt Slausen?

And I really couldn't stop yelling at Aikman for his defense of the extra point kick by McCarthy/GB in the fourth quarter. I think it was an obvious, horrendous mistake by a lauded, Super Bowl coach. And good ole Troy thinks it a great choice at that point in the game. NO IT IS NOT!! Not then, not ever. Too bad he's been hit in the head so many times, even Waddle can figure that one out. Joe B did finally argue the point later in the Bears' drive, but not with any enthusiasm, of course.

The only justification I could think of at the time was that if they missed the 2-pt conversion and the Bears responded with a TD, the lead would then be two possessions (9).

Have the Bears ever won a game that was announced by Joe Buck and Troy Aikman?

Nothing bad to say about Long or Bushrod ... I'll bet Sean Payton would consider getting another year off just to have Bushrod back on the team for the post-season.

And the Seattle playoff game that year.

I guess it seems like in recent history seeing Buck and Aikman just means a guaranteed loss.

Seriously. If there's one thing I take solace in after yesterday's loss, it's that Green Bay is stuck with McCarthy and his terrible in-game decisionmaking for at least a while longer. It's unfortunate the Bears won't be able to continue to play a Schwartz coached team into the future as well but at least slow Mike still has his job.

Exactly

There are a few scenarios -

Nobody scores again - in which case you'd have wanted to do the 2-point

CHI scores a TD - in which case you're going to need a TD and a 2-point

GB scores a TD - where you'd rather go for 2 on your TD

CHI gets a FG to go up 4 - again, you wish you'd gone for 2

GB gets a FG go go up 2 - again you wish you'd gone for 2

In no scenario are you not going to need to go for a 2 point conversion. I'd rather know now whether I made it when I have time to do something about it.

We are talking about the Bears D here.

I think the Pack thought that scoring again was a foregone conclusion

At which point, they would have gone for 2 anyway.

After the next score. Which is when they did.

Those quick scoring drives leave players tired for two point conversion try.
