Turn on HBO at about 4:30 AM (Who doesnt?) and I see some guy standing in the parking lot of what looks like BUDACKIS on Damen in a Pirates head handing out free hot dog Samples.

A kid walks up with a Poncho on, the guy with the pirate head says you want a free hotdog? and why are you wearing a rain Poncho?

Kid says "My dad makes me wear a rain poncho when I do something bad"

Kids dad walks up and its Steve Dahl in a Cameo

Guy takes off the head and its Jeff Garlin. Turns out whole Movie is about him, doing standup in chicago, of course I think he added the part of some cute chicks fucking him because they always wanted to try a Chubby guy! Like Sarah Silverman doing him for that reason.

Dan Castlenetta, Tim Kazurinsky, Patti Vazquez (Why people think she is funny is still a mystery to me), Bonnie Hunt..

There was a kid in the movie, looked like Dakota Fanning, kinda sounded like here...I look in the credits Ellie Fanning!

Amy Sedaris, Gina Gershon, Aaron Carter, Lotsa actors, I assume most did it for free....but still nothing special unless you dig movies where they hang out at all chicago places,.

Not even sure it was a movie.

It was like Jeff Garlin reliving his life as he remembered it and combined it with him thinking a couple of girls wanted to have sex with him.

Fat guy, lives with his mom, broke, no real job, slobbish, not exactly the ladies man. How he managed to work in the part of girls wanting him I guess then is kinda funny.

It was actually a movie -- 200k box office draw with a 1.5M budget. Seems like maybe it was a contractually obligated thing to do for Garlin?

Not Garlin -- the studio... maybe some deal he signed with the studio to produce the movie if he resigned for Curb. Eh, upon second look, Garlin produced it as well. And wrote it. And directed it. So there's the trifecta of suckage complete.

DVR'd this after seeing this thread, and, while it wasn't anything close to groundbreaking cinema, and the thing had absolutely no direction whatsoever, it wasn't entirely unwatchable, if only for the sneak cameos that would flutter in every few minutes. Sarah Silverman's body double also had a very sexy underwear trying on scene, and Bonnie Hunt actually looked like she could get it. I don't appreciate homages to Chicago that completely ignore the entire city, though. The "Mr. Skin" part was entirely out of place and weird, too - I wondered: was that the real Mr. Skin (Jim McBride or whomever) or was it an actor?

And Dahl wasnt out of place? No direction is a good description of the movie.
