Jay's a decent guy. I've learned that from his radio show.

Jurko just baited him into saying gamblers rigged the game. Jay was talking about how weird it was that 2 guys strong-armed the ref during that Review and made him get on a phone. Jurko made a crack that it was the Bilagio calling. Jay chimed in and said "Yeah, the line is 6.5". Then Jay quickly apologized and took it back. He might get fined for that.

problem is he just latches on to one subject and doesn't drive the conversation elsewhere. Gets kind of predictable and monotonous. Now a guy like McCown, he can spray to all fields.

Listening all of this I am just about positive he will be back. He even sounds like he's willing to take a discount. Now we just have to figure out what he considers to be a discount. I would love a starting salary similar to his cap number this season.

For reasonable money, that's fine. He can't be allowed to tie up the salary cap with a fat contract.

28 points should be enough to win a ballgame but that defense was a nightmare though they did look better at times yesterday.

So u guys are thinking Jays going to prostrate himself before Emery and give them a cap friendly discount multiyear proposal in what will more than likely be his last chance to make big cake? Okay I guess we will see.

He said something along the lines of "when you hit the open market teams will overpay but if you stay with your team you are going to take a little less. If that is your goal then everyone will hit the open market." There were emphasis on "if that is your goal".

No. His portrayal of a good quarterback has been god awful.

I agree he will be back but I think any hometown discount will be insignificant in the scheme of things.

I think the home town discount comes in the form of structure not total comp is my guess.

It was a real good listen today.

Switched over to the Score at one point and heard that Martellus had a lot of shoes. Quickly went back to ESPN.
