Per Spaulding's suggestion, I'm here. It's quiet around these parts, but drinky and Hub should drive everybody here. Jurko is mad!!!! I like it.

Get over here everybody, Cutler show comes up later!!!!

Silvy said Ditka fell asleep on live TV yesterday. Here's Keyshon waking him up.

When Jurko says idiotic things like that is he in on the joke or is he just a stupid ex-jock?

Been listening a little today. Jurko is fired up. Very critical of Peppers in particular.

so right when Cutty comes on, the family gets home and ambushes me with stories of ice skating and their trip to the art institute.

BORING! QUIT BORING ME!!

Missed all the talk about his contract.

Been listening. Great stuff.

Switched over to Martellus and they were talking about dogs for 5 minutes.

I dunno. He totally sounds like he's coming back. Talking about next year and signing some FA's on the defensive side.

Listening to Cutler, he's totally amiable and pleasant. I actually like the guy. He'd be a cool neighbor.

HEY Cutty, can I borrow that step ladder again??

Wrong thread. I guess we're doing it here. So...

Jay's a decent guy. I've learned that from his radio show.

Jurko just baited him into saying gamblers rigged the game. Jay was talking about how weird it was that 2 guys strong-armed the ref during that Review and made him get on a phone. Jurko made a crack that it was the Bilagio calling. Jay chimed in and said "Yeah, the line is 6.5". Then Jay quickly apologized and took it back. He might get fined for that.

I couldn't take The Smug Hub and Smarmy Drinky show. So I turned over to find Jurko with Silvy. It was damn good. Jurko waxing poetic about schroomin' in Cincy was hilarious. I think he was drunk. Good listen. Wasn't able to listen to Cutler. I may listen to the podcast later.

Silvy and Jurko are the best they have at MVP, so not surprising the show wasn't too bad. On a Bears day.

Me too. Silvy is the perfect corny straightman for the playful Jurko. I've always liked Jurko.

Silvy is great. I can't deal with Waddle.

And he's one of my all-time favorite players. He was insane.

Yeah. Jurko has a certain charm about him. I kinda knew that from the MJH days, but he was especially good today.

Agreed. Never been fan of his radio work.

I have to hand it to him. After all the hits he took, I'm surprised he can still string a sentence together.

There's just a different attitude at ESPN 1000. Bernstein has made the culture at the Score a "Fuck You to the fans". We all know that. It's one thing when Bernstein does it. It offends sensibilities when idiots like drinky and the rest of the "Bernstein followers" do it. And I'm getting a little sick of Bernstein as well.

I've decided to give Silvy and Waddle a chance. Don't let me down, boys.

That's where I am, too. I can hardly listen to Berns anymore, only in very short spurts.

That might be true on there slot but Laurence, Mac and Spiegs are mostly courteous. Hell even Drinky was nice to callers for the most part with Hub today.

Cutler, for whatever reason, has really liked these guys every since he called in to talk to Steve. Part of it is that Waddle was in the NFL so he understands the game and the locker room like only NFL Players can, but Silvy has a very good rapport with Cutler as well. He always comes across as a pretty regular and overall decent guy on this show. Sometimes not so much at press conferences but who cares about that (oh wait...fickle, meathead Bears fans thats who). Lovie Smith is probably the same way. Probably a cool dude away from the football field and cameras.

Jurko, with the right partner, is awesome. He was great with Mac and would absolutely become a ratings machine if he were paired with Silvy, and I say that as somebody who likes Waddle too.

Way smarter than the character he plays.

Kind of a clever funny guy. and not meathead like.
