but yeah, thankfully for them theo walcott was doing his "miss 3 gimmes to start the game" thing which was the only thing preventing them from losing 3-0 or 4-0 or maybe even worse. arsenal got away with starting their backup GK, resting mertesacker for the first half, and doing the one thing that arsene wenger essentially took a blood oath to never do in his lifetime: sub out mikel arteta.

naturally, city/chelsea/united will eventually show up and end their FA cup run, that is if some championship/league-one side doesn't rise up and defeat arsenal @ emirates just to hammer home the point that arsene doesn't care about the COC/FA.... but hey, given that city's probably going to trot away with teh EPL by ~7/+ pts when it's all said and done, at least i can dream of arsene waking up and giving a shit about getting a very gettable trophy if he resists the urge to trot out a hybrid of his first team XI and his capital one cup XI.

anyways, there's rumors that arsenal might also be considering coming out for the summer, so if arsenal doesn't end up coming out i might have to make my maiden voyage out to toyota park to at least have some fun being "that guy" in the enemy's kit. if any of you guys are coming out for this we might have to do an inaugeral(?)
