During this weekend's wild card game between the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia police are planning on going undercover as Saints fans.
According to a piece by 6ABC, police will be wearing Saints jerseys and hats in hopes of catching fans who decide to be less than hospitable.
"Unruly, rude, threatening behavior, it's simply not going to be tolerated and you're going to be ejected from the stadium or arrested," Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Joe Sullivan said to 6ABC.
Sullivan said that during the last Eagles home game -- against the Chicago Bears -- 15 fans were arrested and 68 were ejected.
That was a game the Eagles won, and a game that meant very little. If the Eagles were to lose this Sunday, in the playoffs, it could get ugly. A recent study from earlier this season showed that when the Eagles lose, the arrests after the game go up.
Hopefully, if the Eagles do lose, the emotion of the playoffs does not make that number go up even higher.
