Hageman was never there in any of my 2nd rounds.

Was going to take him in the 1st but couldn't get my Emery on.

Forgot that the Bears didn't have a 7th and was going to use that on Jordan Lynch, but it's looking like he may be a FA anyway. Drafted Black Momba to be the scat back Gio Bernard type to complement Forte, and he will also replace Hester on KO/PR.

Saw one mock draft on there where the Bears selected Jadaveon Clowney @ 14.

This is an absolute home run of a Bear draft

1. Eric Ebron, TE, UNC- in a talented draft, this is going to be the guy who is considered the best player 10 years from now. He is a TE who transcends the position.

2. Aaron Donald, DT, Pitt- I never would have thought Donald would be available at this pick. He is a DT who absolutely destroys the pocket on pass downs. LOVE this pick

3. Craig Loston, S, LSU- like everyone else who picked him, I know little about him but he was the best safety available at a position of need. Hopefully he can cover, because that is the new requirement of safeties in the NFL.

4. Max Bullough, MLB, Michigan State- A STEAL. This is your MLB for the next 10 years. Academic All America. Four year starter. Team captain. Tackle machine. Great football bloodlines. Sure he got sent home from the Rose Bowl but that is just a smudge on an otherwise impeccable resume. If they are moving away from Cover 2, they don't need the freakish athlete at MLB like under Lovie. A poor man's Kuechely. LOVE this pick as much as Donald in Rd 2. That is two starters in the middle of your defense.

5. Michael Campnaro, WR, Wake Forest- People will compare him to Welker/Amendola. He is more physically gifted than either. He has had some injury problems the last couple of years. If you even slightly follow Wake, you are aware how different the offense is when he is in or out. Difference maker. As sure handed a WR as you will get. He takes over the slot this year and makes Bennett expendable. GREAT find at rd 5.

6. Kareem Martin, DE, UNC- pass rush specialist with superior skills. Probably not an every downs DE from Day 1 but absolutely has the ability to be one in the future. He is a passing down DE from day 1. Inconsistent in his effort which makes him available this late but really has the ability to be an elite pass rusher.

6. Russell Bodine, C, UNC- starting center in 2015.

Here it is. The draft that will bring everyone together and get the Bears a Super Bowl win.

Even Boilermaker Rick will love this as Bridgewater inexplicably drops to 14 upon rumor of the sugar diabeetus apparently.

Couple of S that immediately solve this problem. If the draft went down like this, I'm good. Pryor and Bailey are 2 of the 5 best S in the draft. Bailey can tackle and played some OLB even though he's too small for that in the NFL, he can still tackle people. Pryor has good size and will probably end up a 2nd round guy at worst.

I don't care to draft from USC or Texas. Let those prima donna's prove themselves in the NFL before paying them

If Bridgewater falls to 14 on draft day, I am going to be very pissed about the Cutler signing.

At that point you shouldn't really care. He's only going to get about $18M over 5 years. You can trade Cutler the following season and still have Bridgewater for the next 4. It'll save the Bears $5M too.

 Agreed.

I'll have to pay somebody to argue with Nas and BRick at that point because my heart wouldn't be in it.

Would be great if we actually landed him. He really supposed to fall out of the top 10 tho? I have heard/read different things on it. Depends on the QB run, and how early that is from what I gather.

MLB has become far less valued in the NFL, kind of like RB

True, with less teams running 4-3 as a base. I imagine he could play ILB in a 3-4 without any problems if it came down to that.

Whats the D-linemen situation looking like in the top 15-20 this upcoming draft? I'm not sure who has declared yet (underclassmen ect). Heard earlier on the radio that the Bears could go that direction at 14 if someone falls as well. Also hearing alot of talk about the Bears possibly letting Mel Tucker go and bringing in someone else, Wade Phillips name seems to be getting thrown around alot in that dicussion as well as a few other names. So that could play into draft decison making as well.

you mean nobody wants to pay the guy who runs up 10ft and just stands there with his head on a swivel trying to figure out where he should go to make himself look like he isn't the only guy on the field that has no place to go?

There are a couple of ND DL who look good and should be there at 14 in Tuitt and Nix. The Bears are going to be linked heavily to the Minnesota DL Hagemann. He is a home run or strike out

14 is too high for Hagemann. Probably wouldn't stop Emery though.

Was thinking we should have some sort of contest.....gift card on the line or something. Point system based on your pick if drafted (1st round pick is 7 points, 2nd round pick 6 pts, etc...) and whomever has the points at end of the draft wins.

My guy for the moment is Tuitt. He can play both DE and DT with underrated pass rushing ability. Big for a DE but he might fit right in at 3 tech (see I started my own lingo) immediately.
