MD, why aren't you lobbying for them to sign anyone else? Why is it just Tebow?

I think Tebow was unfairly let go. How many NFL quarterbacks win a playoff game and don't even get to start at quarterback the next season?

All the really bad ones.

How many can you name?

Why would more than one be necessary?
Are you saying that tim tebow alone won that game?
Don't you think that if he were any good at qb he would have gotten an offer?
Are you implying that something other than his football skills got him cut with no offers?
Just say what you think it is. Don't be a pussy.

Just for the record, the Bucs are starting Mike Glennon, who wasn't even good at NC State, over Tim Tebow.

The conversation likely went something like this:
Hey, should we sign Tim Tebow?
Nah, we've got like the 25th best quarterback in the NCAA last year. We don't need Tebow.

Yes, because I listened to Trent Dilfer and he told me so.

Tebow spent 10 hours a day for six days a week training doing hundreds of thousands of reps. And he did that for five months to make himself a better quarterback. He pushed himself to the limit every day because he just "wants it."

He's like a bull in a china shop, Jim. He really wants it.

This is great for the world.

Doing some quick math on that. Dilfer said he did over 100,000 reps.

If we give him 21 weeks over 5 months, that's 1260 hours or 75,600 minutes. So, he was doing 1.32 reps every minute nonstop for 10 hours a day for 5 months. That's "wanting it".

Trent Dilfer invented football math so it has to be true.

Tebow on the comeback trail. May go to the free agent combine. Supposedly has learned how to throw.

Uh oh...

Maybe BD is right to not yet apologize.

It's been more than two years since Tim Tebow last played in an NFL game. But could be part of Chip Kelly's master plan with the Eagles?

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tebow will work out for Philadelphia on Monday. Kelly's level of interest in Tebow, who formerly played for the Broncos, Jets and (briefly) the Patriots, is not yet clear.

Tebow grew into a transcendent star while he was at Florida. He won two national championships with the Gators and took home the Heisman Trophy in 2007.

Denver surprisingly drafted him late in the first round, and he played sparingly as a rookie. However, he led the Broncos on an improbable playoff run in 2012 and re-gained his status as a national sports icon.

It's worth noting that Tebow spent 2012 as Mark Sanchez's backup in New York, playing in 12 games that year, and Kelly recently re-signed Sanchez. Perhaps that connection helped the former Heisman winner earn another shot as a pro.

Tebow has worked as a college football analyst for ESPN since December 2013 but has said he is not ready to give up on an NFL career. In the summer of 2013, he spent six weeks with the Patriots in training camp but was part of the final cuts at the end of August.

Let me add, I would take him on my team before Manziel.

Well yea...a grest guy versus a complete fucking dumbass. If anyone can figure out how to use Tebow, it's Chip.

Tebow's biggest problem is that he's just an unlikeable twatmuffin.
Just plain annoying.

Relief QB? Bring Tebow in in the 4th, when the defense is on their heels. Mostly run him + some short passes.

Tebow catch at all? Throw him screens out of a pistol formation.

 Yeah, and he was cut in the preseason, after Belichick saw that Tebow was useless. It's a publicity stunt. The sports media will be talking about the Eagles for a few days.

Hey Scorehead, I will bet you that Tebow doesn't throw a pass in a regular season game? Name the stakes.

Barkley just got traded to the Cardinals.

It's going to be Tebow-Time again. Thank that benevolent Lord.
