Without question the two worst months of the year and third place(August or March) isn't even close.

Cold.
Dreary.
Valentines Day.
Short days.
Only 3 good football weekends(Super Bowl is a decent night but a pretty bad football weekend).
Getting together tax stuff.
Ice.
You feel like it is your duty to improve yourself but deep down you know you won't.
Almost no more days off.

I should move to a place where I can avoid January and February.

STEINBRENNER: Just let me ask you something. Is it "February" or " February"? Because I prefer "Febuary" and what is this "ru"?

No, that would go in the "March" nomination.

feb is at least a short month. and with march comes whispers of spring. january is downright painful. long month, frigid, post holiday decompression...and nothing but more winter in sight.

You got me all wrong. Purdue basketball is a bad thing about March because they lose quickly, probably in the NIT for this year.

Feb isn't all that bad for me because its a short month and at least I know that spring is just a few weeks away. March can be brutal at times, but typically we get a few nice days towards the middle/end of the month so thats always nice to look forward to. The last 4 years my first golf round of the year has been in March, so when I think that its possible to be out playing golf in 8-10 weeks, and that spring training games will be on TV/radio in about 7 weeks, getting thru these winter months becomes a bit easier.

There are 3 non-exhibition football games left until late August.

1 football game left. The Polar Vortex is returning.

We can't even celebrate today's birthday.

What have we done to deserve this?

Is it that we as a country have turned our back on religion and this is punishment from an angry and vengeful God?

Some asshole had a "Fuck you, Winter AHHAHAHAH" thread a couple years ago. Its probably retribution for that.

Today is the second day this week that my daughter's school is closed. Makes sense today as we got two inches of snow followed by a half an inch of ice.
We are out of snow days, and they refuse to extend the school year so instead they are eliminating days over spring break. After today, my daughter's spring break will be Good Friday and that's it.

Let me state, that at least until March 15th, I think that marriage should only be between a man and a woman.

I love winter, the cold, the snow, all of it. It is starting to now grate on me.

I was out this morning clearing the driveway in my $5000 suit!
