LAKEVIEW — A new TV show will be filming at local dive bar L&L Tavern this week — and a casting call suggests the bar will be transformed into the watering hole of "Aryan Nation types."

NBC drama "Crisis," a thriller debuting in March, will be on location at L&L Tavern, 3207 N. Clark St., on Wednesday, according to an email from 44th Ward Ald. Tom Tunney.

A casting call from 4 Star Casting hints at what L&L will be used for.

The agency posted on Facebook that it's looking for "Aryan Nation types" to play extras in a bar scene that would film Wednesday. The Aryan Nation is a Neo-Nazi white supremacist hate group that largely splintered after 2004, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The casting call asks for men ages 21-55 with long hair, tattoos and facial hair. Weapons experience is a plus, according to the call.

Extras who respond to the casting call are asked to enter "PUREBLOOD BAR" in the subject line of their emails.

"THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A SENSITIVE SUBJECT AND NOT ONE WHICH WE PERSONALLY ENDORSE BUT IS A ROLE FOR THE SHOW," the casting agency wrote.

L&L Tavern, as Centerstage Chicago describes it, is both one of the "homiest joints in town" and "a watering hole for the seedier section of the central North Side." The local dive is known for $2 Pabst Blue Ribbon bottles.

"Crisis" stars Gillian Anderson and Dermot Mulroney. The show kicks off with a kidnapping of a school bus full of children of Washington D.C.'s elite, the beginning of an international conspiracy by "an unlikely puppeteer."
