Not impressed by an athlete from Compton finishing top 2 in his class and not only getting into Stanford but graduating from Stanford. I understand your suspicion of him as a drug user but I really can't understand where you're going with questioning his intelligence. That seems odd to me. Hopefully you can help me understand.

For all of you '60's & 70's drug users out there, is Adderall just the modern day equivalent to speed like black beauties or white cross? I was a big fan of black beauties. You could buy 100 for $10. 1 pill would have you speeding for 12 hours...so I'm told.

Richard Sherman is now a household name. Less than a year ago very few people knew who he was. If he continues to be the best CB in the game he'll get whatever it is he wanted. Now he has to continue to live up to the hype he has created.

I don't think about it like that. It's just a different time. Just like I don't care if a guy wears his pants hanging off his ass. I wore (and maybe still wear) different ridiculous shit.

But what I would say is that, while Ali was obviously working an act, he was a good actor. I can understand those that came after him trying to emulate him, but very few are good at it. And some fail spectacularly. The point is to act cocky but still be likeable. That's a tough line to walk. And most guys can't.

If it's real emotion that causes a guy to act like that rather than a calculated act, then there's something wrong with him. He has the self-control of a baby or a small child. Or he's on drugs.

I was in the room here one day... watchin' the FOX network on TV. I don't know nothin' about Richard Sherman. I'm watchin' what this guy can do on a football field and how he defends a receiver. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and deflects a pass meant for Michael Crabtree and Kaepernick never knew what the fuck hit him. Sherman gets excited and he starts screaming at Erin Andrews and yelling about Crabtree. Everybody's screaming in the stadium. I'm here, sitting alone in my room, and I start crying.

That's right, I start crying. Because another human being, a species that I happen to belong to, could deflect a pass, and lift himself, and the rest of us sad-assed human beings, up to a better place to be, if only for a minute... let me tell ya, kid - it was pretty goddamned glorious. It ain't the six minutes... it's what happens in that six minutes.
