Something like oysters would never get by corporate risk management.

Well, Coopers Hawk is significantly better than those other chains and I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants.

I doubt that Coopers Hawk has the entree coming out of a bag produced at a factory.

Exceptions for awesome restaurants with more than one location like Ruth's Chris
I've never been to a Ruth's Chris you elitist jerk.

You think you are going to have enough time to fit in a trip to Costco, Home Depot and a 30 minute stationary bike ride?

Don't worry. You'll soon be at the age where you need to take something off the shelf as inventory gets more old and damaged.

Recently I've been going early to grab gas and beat the crowds. The cashier lines can get viciously long.

The largest dinner bill I ever got stuck with was $2500 at Gibsons Steakhouse. There were 18 people there & I'm sitting across from the company President. Policy says that the highest ranking employee must pay for dinner...except no one follows that policy. The bill comes & is sitting right in front of both of us for at least 10 minutes. So I grab the bill & the Pres says "you want me to get that"?
I should have handed it to him.

An expense account is a beautiful thing...as long as you take care of the Controller! Thankfully ours is a Cubs fan from Indiana so were good.

My brother went to dinner with a billionaire (humble brag). At the end of the dinner my brother pulled out his wallet to pay. The guy laughed and said he appreciated the sentiment but he had made more in the time they had been eating than my brother would make in his life.

If it makes him feel better, I didn't even appreciate the sentiment. I was just saying that because poor people like to hear stuff like that.

when I first started working here, went out with the boss and our wives. Tab was $550, which we split 50/50. Glad he only picked an $85 bottle of wine. Last time I've been out to eat with him!

Be careful at Ruth's Chris. Why? The plates are fucking hot. How hot? They come out at 500 degrees. The hostess warned us. The menu warned us. And our server warned us. What do I do? I touch the plate to bring it closer to me. Ouch. Almost did a second time, too. Dumbass.

There is a coopershawk by us but there is a restaurant called topaz in the same area and it's better so coopers usually loses. We do like it, food is always very fresh.

Topaz is awesome. Wanna double some time?

I used to go to the Cooper's in Orland for the wine. I've never been a huge fan of their food.

Menu changed a few months ago. I think it's better now.

I did like the house red blend.

Lots of food choices near Oakbrook mall. Wildfire, Reel Club, Maggianos, Gibsons, Ditkas, Restone, & more.

All overrated chains.

We keep agreeing on more and more things Scorehead. This is disconcerting to me.

I bet there were observers behind a two way mirror recording how many times it would take the guy to stop touching the plate
