According to word out of Vegas. Through 7 different Vegas books and 4 off shore accounts.

You say he's got it, but he's worth 80 million. That's still a big hit for him.

One thing is for sure about Mayweather weather he wins this or not, he's gonna gamble all his money away within 10 years.

Somebody willing to bet 10 million means it's only a matter of time.

Like I said here are the tweets from some Vegas people. Ticket wouldn't be for 10 million as he's got it through 11 places.

One tweet says he doesn't make all his bets public cuz of the IRS. But if the Broncos win, the IRS is gonna look into it. They're aware of this 10 million dollar rumor.

funny thing about that, its a smart move to not tweet the ticket.

You can technically walk up to a window with a ticket number and cash it! fill out a missing ticket form, as long as you have the number they pay you. Tried to get a replacement ticket on a season long wager, the book told me this.

Of course, might be hard to walk up and say "yeah, I dropped $1 m on the Broncos, but lost my ticket, can I fill out a lost ticket form?"

10 million sounds exaggerated but I don't doubt it's a couple million. Broncos don't suprise me either as he's a chalk eating puss.

He made 80 million on his last fight alone.

There is no chance that Floyd Mayweather has already bet $10 million on the Broncos.

So, Vegas has already taken in roughly 10% of their total handle on the SuperBowl, on one side, and the number didn't move? Bullshit.

Most of the money comes in from Friday to Sunday.

I alleged this to the gambling degenerate in my office and his opinion was that because it's split, the number wouldnt move.

No. He won't. Cuz then the IRS gets 40% like I said.

Some of his other 50k winners that he shows people are fine. Cuz he also has a bunch of 50k losing tickets to negate taxes.

I always wondered why Vegas doesn't make you sign a tax form with big wins from the sports book. Cuz they do it when you win $1,200 on a slot machine.

But it's not split. 70% of the action is on the Broncos right now.

It's not split. More money was already coming in on Denver. $10 mill on Denver at this point in the week, would move the number.

No, I think he meant, because it's split among different books

I don't think he can duck taxes on those big sports bets. And it isn't just as simple as writing off losers against winners either. I've been audited twice on gambling winnings. No change both times but I had to pay my accountant a shitload.

You sure as hell can write off the losses if you are taxed on the winnings. This is from the IRS website. You've gotta have the losing tickets to prove it obviously.

Are you really telling me about something I know about firsthand? You absolutely cannot just dump a bunch of losing tickets on the guy's desk and say the winners aren't income. I know because I've done it. The first thing they said was that I could have gotten those losers anywhere. Fortunately, I happened to have the race programs for every single day which was enough to convince the agent- who was a brand new twenty-something girl somewhat intimidated by my Really Smart Accountant- that the write-offs were legit. However, she lectured me that I needed to keep a detailed ledger tracking all my gambling activity if I wanted to write off losses like that in the future.

The next time I got called in for an audit on gambling losses the agent was a guy named Wayne. As we were driving over to the IRS office in Morton Grove, my accountant told me that Wayne was really weird. When I asked what he meant, he just said, "You'll see. He has a really weird voice." It was strange and high-pitched like the whine from a red-lining engine. It was all I could do not to start cracking up. He started busting my balls but I had my ledger this time. He made no changes to the return. And today, Wayne is Wanda. I'm not sure if he/she still works for the Department of the United States Treasury.

Alright. All I can say is a few people I've known have told me they were able to successfully declare losses to negate their taxed winnings. I've never done it myself.

Well, here's a problem that horse players run into. They only have 1099s from cashing bets that paid 600-1 or more. So if a trifecta paid $599.00 for a buck, you'd cash the ticket with no paperwork. If it paid a dollar more you'd have to sign and receive a 1099. So guys file returns and try to write off losses against those signers. But they don't declare any winnings that paid off at less than 600-1. If they happen to get audited, any agent with half a brain is going to ask how it was possible that the only winners you had all year paid off at over 600-1.

That's why people will pay off people at the track to sign for them. I know a few guys that would pay 10% so they didn't have it on record. Yes, you are giving away from money but you don't have the headache.

Yeah, you can always find a "ten percenter".

Remember when that tote executive tried to scam the Breeder's Cup Pick 6 the year it was at Arlington? Well, of course a bunch of guys used ten percenters to sign for their 5 of 6 consolations which were still pretty good payouts. When they figured out that the winning ticket was phony, they put that cash back into the pool and split it among consolation winners. So, if you had cashed the consolation under your social, you were in line for a huge payout. I'm sure some of the guys who used ten percenters wanted to commit suicide.
