The best offense in the league going up against the best defense in the league. The patriots set just about every passing record there is to set. Averaging 38 points and over 450 yards of offense a game. The Seahawks were equally as stingy giving up points on the road as they were at home. They gave up a little over 14 points and a 273 yards on defense a game. Both teams had identical records and their home field advantage likely helped them get to the SB.

Peyton Manning had arguably his best season of his career and has arguably the best offense and the best team he's had in his entire career. A win against the Seahawks will vault him to #1 on the greatest QB list for a lot of people. It would also give him a so called storybook ending.

Unfortunately that's just not going to happen. The Broncos had one of the easiest schedules in the league and the Seahawks had one of the toughest. Even the teams the Broncos played that had good records had some of the worst passing defenses in the league. The Seahawks play a style of football that the Broncos have not seen all season. In fact the Chiefs were the best defense they faced all season and they were awful against the pass and run. The Seahawks will abuse Manning and frustrate the Broncos offense all game. They'll control the clock with their smash mouth running game and get a few timely plays from Wilson to seal the deal.

I'm taking the Seahawks big in this one (regardless of weather). Seahawks win 30-17

Broncos don't have a great defense. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Wilson has a big game. If he didn't wet the bed against the 49ers or Panthers the Broncos defense will be a walk in the park.
