Way too many post game commentators talking about how far Seattle is ahead of everyone.

I wouldn't be even slightly shocked to see SF take the division next year and the Cardinals are one good QB draft away from being on their tails. Carolina has some work to do but I wouldn't put them that too far behind Seattle level either.

Seattle won the SB without having their best 2 WR for pretty much the entire season. The training wheels haven't been take off of Russell yet. The fact that they were so good even though they play in a great division and despite their injuries really shows how great of a team they have.

That is laughable, Nas.

They needed offense to win the Super Bowl. Nothing was held back. He's decent.

Not predicting it will happen, but I could see Seattle getting complacent and not even make the playoffs next year.

I don't think they opened the offense up this year. I know the talent at WR probably influenced that but Russell Wilson wasn't throwing the ball around like most QB's in the NFL do.

I don't know about that. However, if they don't have home field advantage, they are sunk.

Couple players get lazy. Couple injuries. 49ers in the division. Cardinals up and coming team.

I could see it.

I found it funny that during the last drive or two of the game, when Denver had clearly conceded and was just running the ball, Manning continued to go through his checks/audibles/histrionics at the line, even as everyone knew he was just going to hand the ball off to run out the clock. Just habit, I guess. :)

I thought I already debunked this myth.

and I thought I re established it

However, let's eliminate regular season as it is almost a foregone conclusion that they make the post season. They certainly would have lost in San Francisco. I think they would have lost in NO.

The days of dynasty teams in professional sports are gone. It is virtually impossible for one team to dominate its sport. This is the age of from first to last, & from last to first. Would it really surprise anyone if Seattle goes 8-8 next season & misses the playoffs?

That's not true in the NBA.

And yes, I would be very surprised if Seattle misses the playoffs next season.

The Heat & the Lakers are the only teams who have repeated as NBA champions since the last Bulls 3-peat in the late '90's.

This will conclude by posts regarding the NBA.
