The Ducks are good. So fucking what, so are the Blackhawks. I don't think its a statement or big game by any means, or a predicator of any outcome come playoff time should they met because as we all know too much can happen between now and when they would meet so really whats the point in getting all worried about it? Maybe Adam Hog can fill us in on what the theoretical matchup would be like if all the players are healthy , I can't . Anyway, was nice to see the severely slumping Pat Kane break kurt against the oh so big and scary Kings the other night , hope that will set him off on another consistent scoring streak. Toews needs to start potting it a bit more too in my opinion. Overall as I and others have said many times, in a 7 game series none of these fucking contenders really scare me because none are as good as the Blackhawks when they are on their game . So relax, sit back, and strap it down ( you too Spaulding) and enjoy the late ( 9pm) start tonight . Go Hawks.

Nothing much to add here except that the Ducks have demonstrated an ability to kick it into an extra gear that the Hawks have generally lacked. If they don't play stupid, they're almost impossible to beat. They're running the Kings' big-bodied forecheck, but with far more offensive creativity than the Kings can muster. There's talk that they'll shore up with someone like Dan Girardi or Ryan Callahan. Hard not to worry about that.
