Walgreens started selling it again a couple of years ago. CVS always sold booze, as did Osco before them.

I was stuck in DC for a few days during Hurricane Sandy. CVS up the street was well stocked with beer, wine, cheese whiz, crackers -- all kinds of things that got us through the storm :)
