I might go if the beer was cheap and the ladies were flirty.

I went to roller derby a couple of years ago.

If my 5'2" Daughter was a member of the Sky or Depaul I would attend every single game. Thankfully she isn't.

There have been men that play professional basketball who are shorter than 5' 2". Why are you thankful that your daughter is not a professional/collegiate athlete?

Why would you let your daughter play college or pro basketball in a major city?

Cities are dying!!

It is painful to watch Womens Basketball at any level. Plus, she recently informed Mrs. Scorehead & I that she thinks she wants to go to Medical School.

Back in the early 90s I spent a year and a half at UW-Madison. At the time they were still terrible in every men's sport except hockey. They sucked at football and basketball. So me and my roommates decided to rebel by becoming diehard fans of the women's bball team which was also terrible. They would draw about 300 fans, all family. No students. So we would paint our faces, bring a cut out D and a cut out fence and sit all by ourselves behind the basket nearest the UW bench. It was pretty funny, no one at the game basically and the only people in this one section were the 4 of us. And we would act like it was the final four, going crazy the whole game, starting chants for just the 4 of us, screaming at the visiting team on the free throw line. It got to the point where the girls on the bench spent the whole game watching us in shock.

We did this for about half a season and then got bored and moved onto other pointless projects that took time and effort. No surprise that after a year and a half I took my 1.9 GPA and transferred to DePaul.

i worked at the football stadium for a summer and one time when i was in the tunnel the womens volleyball team walked passed. i had to get down off my ladder, it looked like the equivalent of the clydesdale horses were walking towards me. when they got right up to me i had to look straight up to make eye contact. im 6 foot fuckin 5 inches tall!!! i thought i had seen god. hottest fucking experience in my entire life. sorry past ex gf's, all of you combined couldnt match one of these thoroughbreds. long story short i smiled and said hi and they kept walking.

We used to sneak into Camp Randall all the time at night in the middle of winter and run around on the field and kick field goals. I imagine security is a lot tougher nowadays.

I probably would go if it wasn't a major inconvenience. I wouldn't plan a night around it or anything.

I spent some time in Madison in the early '80's. Great town. State Street was always fun & I still miss the Gyros at the Parthenon.

Scrimmaged with the depaul womens team while in college all the time.

first play, was a rebound which 'beth' grabbed and elbowed me so hard hard in the chest it knocked the wind out of me! She outlet passed and the play went on while I was bent over trying to catch my breath. I have never been hit that hard by a guy playing hoops.
