Have you ever gotten 100% achievements on a Xbox or PS game?
I'm pretty close on Diablo 3. Need one more.

Nope. The only platinum trophy in our house is from my wife getting it on Lego Harry Potter. Was 2 away from getting it on Final Fantasy XIV but got bored grinding it and quit.

I broke out NBA Jam: On Fire Edition after not playing it for a couple years, and I just collected my last trophy last weekend. I'm also fucking people up in online matches.

Also, people who quit in the middle of online matches are little bitches. You should be banned for a certain amount of time if you get a DNF. Fuck that bullshit. Take your 30 point beatdown and learn something from it.

I like the Lego games, very mindless entertainment. How was Harry Potter?

Plenty of Xbox 360 games...no PS3 Platinums...no 100% on an Xbox One game either

My wife is the Lego player, but said the first Harry Potter is the best Lego game she's played, which includes the Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones, and Pirates of the Caribbean games.

High praise. I liked the Star Wars and Batman games... Maybe I ought to give it a whirl.

Back when I used to try to 100% games...that was way before Acheivements and Trophies were even a thing. I got close to 100% with the PS1 Final Fantasy games...that is about it though.

I don't like replaying storylines much. If I do, it isn't aiming for trophies. InFamous I played as a good guy then bad. I meant to do that with the Mass Effect series but never did.

I'd recommend playing through the ME series as a bad guy just for the dialogue...but...you can just watch videos of it online...

...some really good stuff in there.

I need a new game. I've heard good things about mass effect. Perhaps I should try it.
I like shooters and survival horror the best. Is that what we're dealing with here?

You might have a hard time with the first one...the whole series is an RPG/Shooter hybrid and the first games skews much more towards the RPG part of that.

Well then. Open to more suggestions then.
Are there any games out there like the original resident evil or doom 3?

Sounds like you want something where you shoot zombies/monsters/infected type...

...I'd say you would do well to give Left 4 Dead a look...I've never played it but I hear people who dig those sort of games liked it well enough.

Felt the same way about GTA V when you got to the end

**SPOILER ALERT********

and had to choose to kill Michael or Trevor.....I chose neither, beat the game, and looked at Youtube to see the ending had I chose to kill either of them.

I have the original left 4 Dead. It wasn't really that inspiring. Really is a coop game and none of my pals seem to have it.

Oh...

...well then...umm...Gears of War? It's an over the shoulder shooter so there's that difference but otherwise it's entertaining enough...

OK. I'll check that one out when I go to game stop. Thanks.

Dead Space 1 might be the closest you will get to Resident Evil. (Besides Dino Crisis)

Even less likely to nowadays, since a lot of games have trophies for online parts. I'd consider platting AC4, but I'm not going to grind out all those online levels to get them. In one of EA's Fight Night games one of the trophies was for being the number 1 ranked online player. IN THE WORLD.

Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City = 100%

I might go back to try to get 100% on GTA IV

Got 30 done to 100 percent. Only feel bad about NHL and MLB 2k6 and proud to say I never played Avatar The Last Airbender. The Arkham Origins mulitplayer broke my streak of Batman games being done to completion. Hate when silly mp achievements get tacked on to an otherwise fun game.

Not that I had much of a streak, but I agree. I played the multiplayer once and I don't think I'll go back to it. Now, do I buy a PS4 just to play the last Batman game? Decisions, Decisions.

I think it's going to be the reason I get a PS4...actually, if I get one, that will be the reason. I just wish it wasn't the final game in the series. At least, that's what they say.

I always took it to mean that this is the final Arkham game, but not the final DC game from Rocksteady. Rumors have swirled for a while now that they were working on or would be working on a Justice League game set in the silver age.
