I don't believe in satan. But I do believe anyone who mass murders children should probably be considered a devil, depending on your definition of the word.

See that's your problem. God is wholly good. The essence of all things pure and true. He cannot change. He cannot tell a lie. All his judgments are just.

The devil is the source of all evil on Earth and humans who align their will with the devil. The fact that Adam and Eve chose to be their own God in the Garden of Eden is why all humans die. But in the beginning humans were created perfect beings in the image of God but they were tempted by the devil and their choice to be their own God corrupted their nature.

God's mercy is not to put all the humans in hell. His choice is to put his only Son to death and give all of mankind the option to choose life and his Son or choose death. It's a second chance and a second choice.

The devil is the master of spin. He tempts all of the world to sin and then when they do sin he tells people that it's God's fault. "God doesn't care about you. Where was God when you needed him? Do you think a loving God would do that? Who does he think he is? You know he doesn't want anyone to have any fun? You know God is just a fairytale. He doesn't really exist. There is no heaven or hell. Everyone goes to heaven. There is no such thing as sin. Homosexuality is not sin. The Bible is wrong. Christians are all judgment hypocrites." The list of lies just keeps adding up.

He's as big an asshole as Jim Rome. But Jim Rome actually says something funny or thought provoking on occaision.

I saw him big time a couple of radio people for no reason when he first worked here. Heard stories about his jackass ways that I firmly believe to be true & correct. Hopefully when his house of cards folds, they'll all get to piss on him on his way down.

And he just isn't funny. He's just a smarmy loud mouthed jerk.

RR,I tend to agree. I tried to like the guy because he does "Oprah/Ellen" good deeds on his show like those two lesbians do. He still hasn't said anything to make me laugh or even smirk.

I went to a taping of his show (never watched it, though). He's funnier during the breaks than he is on air.

Bad thing about it was that we HAD to be @ the taping by 5. HAD TO. Got there an hour early because it's first come, first serve (supposedly they give more tickets than they have seating for, to guarantee a full house). We waited 3 hrs. before taping began. The producers said they were doing "rehearsal".

During one of the breaks Steve made a comment about "never rehearsing". The fuckers lied to us. He was probably out stuffing his gullet while we waited for the damn show to start. I do give him credit for not keeping up w/ the producers bullshit.

The show was alright, but shit, I had a long day @ work, then had to wait for that.

I don't think I'd go to another one.

See if you take that position you have no explanation for the conflict in the universe or why one idea should be right or why one idea should be wrong. There's no devil and God is a murderer. That's not exactly a winning philosophy. You cannot say that God is evil and still say that "Good exists outside of God." It doesn't compute.

Try not always equating God with the Christian/Catholic version. You'll probably come off better. You can't simultaneously say you are an atheist and then call God an asshole. It just makes you look like a trolling atheist asshole. And try not to get successfully trolled by Mini Ditka. What's that old saying... "Never get into an argument with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience." Something like that I think.

I actually don't. I'm doing a lot to learn about a lot of different gods. In this case, I'm speaking directly about the god he believes in and the bible he follows.


And I can say I'm an atheist and call that god an asshole. I'm an atheist because he is an asshole and murders kids. That's why I don't believe in that god.

The atheist position does not make any logical sense. You cannot look at the human body, which is a work of art and say that it came to be by chance. As a rule of life things are always going from order to disorder. The probability of life happening by chance is more than a billion years. Richard Dawkins believes aliens are more likely than God.
