This is just ridiculous now. I'm done. I'm moving to a place where I don't have to deal with January and February.

Seeing as how it's the middle of February I'm not going out on too big a limb saying this but I believe yesterday's below zero will be the last we see this year. I believe the worst is finally behind us.

Let me know if you find a place that only has a 10 month calender.

I don't want to ever live through another January or February. This is all too much.

you can colonize a new planet, since it's not mentioned in the bible...you'll still find your way to hell but at least you can create your own calendar and arbitrate your own bible out of it. spawn an entire generation of mini ditkas.

I feel like this winter has lasted 4 years. It's like we are living in Winterfell.

That seems like a pretty optimistic projection.

I guess Tex since I can't see Edgar or Johnny in the snow.

All we need is a couple of days in a row with temps in the 50s with maybe a little rain and most of the snow except for the piles in parking lots will be gone.

I have seen some HUGE piles of snow, that likely will be around until Memorial Day.

No way. Unless those piles are constantly in the shade, they will be gone by the end of the month.

Frank I think you are discounting the fact that this has not been a normal winter by any means. I think your wish to play golf is clouding your judgement. :D

I'm trying to be more optimistic than most, but c'mon. Yeah there are some big snow piles out there, but you don't think its possible for them to be gone in 26 days? Its March 5th. A couple of 50 degree days in a row can really turn things around.

Remember two years ago in March when it hit 80 for a couple days in a row and all the trees starting budding and plants started growing? We don't need to see 80 on the thermometer but I'm we usually see a couple of 60 degree days towards the end of March.

Yeah, but if you look at any forecast they are not calling for any of that. Go talk to your buddy Skilling. Trust me, I wish you would be right. :(

the AccuWeather app on my phone has been consistently showing warmer temps by mid month;

3/10 42
3/11 42
3/12 40
3/13 38
3/14 35
3/15 37
3/16 58
3/17 48
3/18 51
3/19 62

If those forecasted hi temps hold true and the 16th thru 19th are sunny, most of this snow will be gone.
