This is gonna hurt her career. Not because Hollywood is anti lesbian. Not at all. It's just that there aren't many lesbian roles in movies.

And i know what you're saying. She can still play a hetero sexual in the movies. True. You just don't see directors cast lesbians actresses that way once they're out of the closet. Same with gay actores as well.

In the defense of producers and directors, it's because they want you to buy their story. If the audience is thinking, "hey that actress is a lesbian" in a movie where she's the love interest of a guy, it takes away from the movie.

Hasn't hurt Tom Cruise.

That's my point. He still denies it. Though everybody knows, it makes a difference when you actually say it. He hasn't. Had he announced he was gay when he was young, he wouldn't have been cast in any of the blockbuster movies in his career.

And he's had a couple of beautiful wives that still fools middle America.
