If you really want a SPORTS TALK STATION

May I suggest starting the day with a SPORTS TALK SHOW....

I am a JB fan, but I am also a Bobby Flay fan, but not listening to Bobby Flay on my sports talk station. OK, maybe I day a week I would.

b-b-b-b-b-but when WFAN was huge and allowed mike and the mad dog to rise to prominence, days started off with don imus in the mornings.... and he wasn't a sports show!

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO TALK DOWN A FORMULA THAT GAVE US OUR SPORTS POPE?!?!! (bernstein can be the sports rabbi or something, to that effect. he's one of many sports rabbis but there's only one goddamn sports pope)

so suggestion denied. cuz it worked with imus. in the 90s. it's perfect for the here and now.

This station was thrown together rather quickly in about 2 weeks. Hell, their call letters aren't even approved yet. It makes me wonder why they rushed The Game to market rather than waiting until everything was in place.
Way too many plain Jane vanilla hosts on this station. They need a couple of regular Joe everyday meatball types.

They started a new station and a majority of the guys they are already paying. I get that part.

But, I am not impressed with the Angle or whatever angle they have claimed for the Radio veterans they have behind them in this venture.

I will assume Wert and Decastro have much bigger plans.

Remember, these are Mac's guys! they know he can bring them instant numbers.

The "forgiveness" by Rod and Mitch will help when the deal comes up, but wont make the difference.

I would do a show with Frank all day! he wouldn't do one with me though

what you don't want to know what Buzz Kilman thinks of the Incognito/Martin situation? Or who the true #1 college basketball team is out there?

How about Murph? Is he under some contract with ESPN 1000? Seems like he'd be able to jump ship.
