I'm pretty sure the Bulls wouldn't be able to get him back.

We could if Cleveland resigned Deng and I'm sure Cleveland would do it in a heartbeat.

theyre not happy with his awfulness. when are teams going to realize the bulls have a coach that makes all his players look better then they really are?

True. It would be nice if they got Thibs a lot of good players instead of forcing him to make chicken salad every year.

Then I would be the most CORRECT MO FO in this city!

Been calling for this for a long tiime!

he wants an extension, they wont give him one for what he wants, they trade him, he becomes a FA, he gets offers right at Bulls offer from last year.

Lou is smarter than he is stubborn, so his pride would not stop him from signing here and anyone that knows Jerry R organizations, they LOVE bringing back guys they know!

Wait till everyone opts out and we dont get any of them, Lou comes back to Chicago, he is this years Boozer.

Good to see we can lock up 2nd place in the east for the next few years! Nice work!

I hope I am wrong, but I think many could see No Melo, no Lebron, No Love and we sign Lou again

No chance that happens. Bulls fans are the most pessimistic people I know.

Melo is coming. Did you hear about the Knicks trade? Calderon is solid but he isn't going to make them a championship team and Dalembert is a guy.

I actually just read about that trade. Even so, I just can't see Melo leaving that kind of money on the table.

Or maybe Melo, LeBron, and Wade are making plans?

Phil's enemy Krause is gone. I have to think there will be another joining of the forces this off-season. Whether it is James and Melo or Melo and Love or whatever, it has to happen. Miami set the precedent and others want to follow, especially Melo. There is also talk about LBJ going to LAC - if Griffin is on the table then who knows, maybe that happens. The Bulls will land Vince Carter.

No one has the cap space to sign Melo and James except the Lakers and that won't happen.

Sign and trades, as well as taking less than the max, can help solve cap space issues.

Who has the ability to do that? Most teams may be able to do one. The Bulls could dump Rose or Noah but it will be tough for anyone to get both unless they take substantially less than they are worth. Of course the Heat could create enough cap space to pull it off if Wade and Bosh take a major pay cut.

If he was the 2nd piece added after a super-star, it would be a nice summer.

I believe you cant bump a deal more than 15% a year, so Lebron cant take 1 M then 20 M

This pertains to long term deals.

He could take $1M and then an organization could promise him $25 Mill next year.

Then he is playing on a promise, which financially speaking he could do.

When's the last time Bulls management was creative? Mormon couples in their 50s are more adventurous than Bulls management. Not sure if they want to spend $$$ anyways. United Center has been full.

KW: They tried earnestly in 2010. They did everything right: they traded Hinrich to create more cap room, preplanned to have space available in 2010, fired VDN, and met with who they were supposed to meet with. It just didn't work out.

In hindsight the Hinrich trade probably cost them a championship. It definitely cost them a trip to the Finals.

The biggest moves last year were Dunleavy, DJ Augustine and Jimmer. WTF!? Garpax thinks NBA still plays like they did in the 50s.

They had ZERO cap flexibility.
