Heather Cox on ESPN before the game-

Quote:
The bulls are 7-13 against western conference teams this year. Tonight they are hoping to change that.

heather... im sure your last name is fitting (pun intended), and through basic arithmetic one would realize any game played, win or loss, will change a teams record. ms cox, who you fuckin i mean crappin

bulls doubled up nugz in the 1st quarter. now to watch the bulls slowly fade to shit over the next 3 periods and barely win by 2 points.

Ike this is a dangerous Bulls team. I don't think they've peaked yet.

ill tell you what... this team is disciplined like no other, and whatever they lack in talent they make up for in effort. they are absolutely mindless out there, it seems like nothing effects them. theyre like a steam train just slowly but surely chuggin along.

46 to 69 at half! DESTROY EM BOYS! apparently nuggs have been bad lately, but they won a big game last night. announcer was like "oh no, they cant have this happen tonight. they just lost any momentum they had from last nights game"

uh oh- denvers coach just called his team out at the half- "if youre not going to care about this game, i will pull you out and put someone in that does"

damn!..... look for this to turn into funbad real quick! NEVER tell an nba player hes lazy!

bulls offense was apparently raped and murdered in the 3rd quarter. still 5min to go but the lead shrunk to 14. if the nugs cut this to 10 by the 4th were fucked. we have no answer, its like the bulls just go go go gog ogogogo ggog ogogog and like a 5 year old kid, goes until they just pass out. mindless.

Pretty sure you shouldn't be excited about that.

Why not? They don't have a star on this roster. They don't have a scorer on this roster. That's 2 months of great basketball.

It was a great blowout win for the Bulls, but honestly the Nuggets are very depleted as a team. In the off-season they lost Brewer, Iguodala and their coach. They traded Miller at the deadline. Nate Robinson blew out his ACL. Ty Lawson was injured. McGree is gone for the season. Gallinari is out for the season. I want to say that Chandler and Faried are the only good players on the team from last year that played last night. The Nuggets were hovering around that 8th spot in the West and now they are pretty much lottery bound. Great win for the Bulls, but they were also playing a team that with last night is 3-7 in their last 10 games and might be quitting on their coach. We have to see what kind of effort the Bulls give against the Heat on Sunday to get a feel for how they are playing against top notch competition.

It's a shame that DJ probably won't resign. He might be able to get starter money from another team.

I hope Jimmy Butler isn't going to be out long. He's too valuable defensively to not be on the floor.

dj is fucking awesome. he could start pg for at least half the teams in the league. i think he likes it here, but youre probably right in that when rose is back he likely wont like sitting on the bench.

DJ is one of the main reasons the Bulls are back in the playoff hunt. He helped them win a lot of games. The Bulls have limited offensive ability and DJ has played in a number of games during which he scores around 20 points. He doesn't play as good of defense as Hinrich, but I think he's a better shooter at this point. Even if he's just a guy, he's like a Nate Robinson who runs the point better. DJ is a major upgrade from Marcus Teague.

He IS like Nate Robinson, which is exactly why we don't need him. We'll get a new one next year.

IMO he is a way better player than Nate. He runs the offense better than Rose.

nate was bush league. good backup.

dj is a starter. the guy has added more then we lost with the deng trade. very good chance if we let him go we end up with kirk hinrich backing up rose again, which means rose needs to play 45min a game and hopefully never sits in the playoffs. we got lucky getting dj this year, i dont think we would find a comparable player in midseason again.

Steve Aschburner was on the Score and he was talking about "the championship or bust" mentality that so many NBA fans have. He said that one team a year gets to be the champs and that if you take the perspective that the season isn't worth watching until the team is ready to win one then you aren't really a fan of the team.

His best point was when he said outside of Game 6 of the NBA Finals the second best game of the playoffs was Nate Robinson's game against the Nets. He correctly pointed out that the entertainment of the Nate Robinson game didn't have anything to do with winning a championship.
