So you are saying I have a chance at knowing more about the 1989 Chicago Bulls, than the 5 year old kid sitting by his radio.

As long as I have a chance, I am good!

Maybe one day we can sit around and listen to Leash's stories about BJ Armstrong, or Craig Hodges, or Ed nealy, or how Sickey Dimpkins came back here 3 times.

Is this seriously a crusade of yours? I'll give you one thing, though - I don't know anything about Sickey Dimpkins. Sounds like a child predator.

If he was dyslexic it would have been Simpkins Dickey and the only person that thought Dickey was good was named krause

Mr leash, you have much to learn about your Bulls, other that what you heard on the radio, but I will do your best to enlighten you,

Favre Fan, you can listen in too.

Krause also thought Luc was the best passing big man in the draft, per you.

There's a lot that you know that I don't, I'm sure. But I trust my thoughts over yours when it comes to what's happening on the court during any given game.

So, now you are a better ? coach? Point guard? floor general? Your ability to SEE the game flow is now better?

where did you learn your vast knowledge? Sitting down with NBA Scouts? college coaches? NBA assistant coaches???? or is this a natural god given talent?

Don't be so sure. Biggie knew Luc Longley was slow before you did.

Actually one his assets as a center was his ability to run the court. Yes, Noah easily runs the court better than him, but I am pretty sure Longley was being compared to Stanley Roberts at the time....Now, do I need to enlighten you to Stanley Roberts?

Common sense and watching a lot of basketball. You may have watched a lot of basketball but anyone with common sense would laugh at Luc Longley being as good at Noah at everything.

Noah ranks high on the list of hard-working players who make up with desire what they lack in natural talent. At the present moment he is somewhat overrated given the fact that he is one of the best players on a team with no stars. I would say if he could fetch something decent in a trade they should do it. Unfortunately, GarPax is in love with him and will probably never trade him.

Effort wise he has to be #1 (that I have seen). Every game is Game 7 of the Finals.

Wow. I just saw this thread and read through it.

Seriously, someone actually thinks Luc was better or as good as Noah?

BF spent a shit load of time around those teams and probably still has some relationships. I missed 1 Bulls game in 8 years but he was physically at the games and practices.

That's not the be all end all though. Chas has probably seen more redskins games than you have but if I had a question about the team I'd trust your answer before his.

Easy. Unless you attended every game in the 90's, you're not qualified to have an opinion.

Horace Grant was very good. Would have been an all star and the #2 on almost any other team.

Rodman was still awesome rebounding and defending when he was a Bull

Longley WAS underrated.

That is all

I agree he's underrated but there's no question Noah is the better player.

Getting back to the OP's point of career accomplishments, if Noah isn't traded, he could easily end up with 4-6 all star appearances, several all defensive 1st and 2nd team, few all NBA teams(1st, 2nd, or 3rd). Pretty high on the bulls list for minutes, rebounds, games, possibly assists and blocks, etc). We can revisit this obviously over the next few years. I bet he makes one of the top 2 all NBA and all defensive teams this year if he stays healthy.
