You're right about that unless he wants more playing time.

I agree. He probably wants to prove he can still be an asset to a team rather than a towel waiver on a contending team. He's going to want to score one more good contract before he hangs it up.

Where would he get more time on the Bulls? He'd be fighting for playing time with Dunleavy, Butler, Snell, Augustin all of whom Thibs trusts.

Thibs would move Snell out of the rotation in a heartbeat if he could.

Snell has really improved over the year. Thibs would love to not have to play him but he's earned his PT. He's a willing defender who's shot needs more work.

At worst he would be the 6th man. He would be the best scorer on the team. Considering Butler gets injured every other week he could be starting in no time.

Doesn't Granger get hurt every other week also? Hopefully they talk about it and can agree on rotating weeks.

They need to leverage assets in trades and make hay that way as opposed to free agents. I dont care about Granger anyway; he will average three points and not get off the bench in the playoffs. More generally, there needs to be an emphasis on acquisition through trades. No big time free agent is choosing Chicago.

OKC got Caron Butler, too. Looks like it's Jimmer for us.
