I like their old Orange jerseys, sadly I think more teams could be headed this way, almost starting to look like the Oregon Ducks way of dressing.

Yeah, the dreamsicle jerseys were less embarrassing than these ....

I really do not like the NFL getting into college jerseys.

What the fuck is this shit?

Their current jerseys were perfect, their orange creamsicle jerseys were good too. These jerseys look like they were made by some 14 year old douchebag in Madden.

NFL uniforms are getting a little ridiculous. Even the back-to-basics Vikings uniform has a bunch of futuristic quirks to it.

To me, the biggest problem from a design standpoint is that I can't really tell you what their colors are. The Bears, it's easy. Navy blue and orange. Raiders, black and silver. Packers, green and gold. Here we have the, what, the red, orange, black, silver, and "pewter," which isn't even pewter so much as a weird shade of warm grey? What's the hierarchy? Psychologically, how do you connect? Say what you will about the burrito pirate, but at least the original uniforms had a color no other team had. Creamsicle orange = Buccaneers, for better or worse. This is a mess.

Here are the throwbacks the Bucs toyed with the last few years. They had to stop because the NFL said using a second, less-broken-in helmet increases the risk of CTE. I'm not making this up. But those colors have a distinct Florida vibe, they can't be confused with another team (admittedly, nor can these new ones), and the numbers are easily legible. Maybe pastel orange is a "soft" color, but the Raiders are agreed to have the most intimidating colors and they strike fear in no one. Now that the Buccaneers spent years being terrible in their updated uniforms (which to me just looked like a ripoff of the 49ers), you can't say that the old ones are any more tainted than the new ones. They would have been best served going with these full-time.

They look cheap and tacky, like an Area League team. I was going to say like a USFL team but those looked better then these do. The numbers look like they should be flashing 12:00.

Is it the angle, or is the logo on the helmet twice the size it used to be? Hmmm...I guess it's not just the angle:

Bad. Looks like XFL or NCAA.

A problem is that some players were using helmets that weren't made anymore so if they went to a second helmet they wouldn't have it.

I kind of like the colors, Pewter, Red & Orange. IDK about the design. The numbers might have to go, unless the Jersey sounds an alarm @ the 2 minute warning.

I do like the bigger logo helmet.

I need to see the color jerseys.

But is there some unwritten rule of what an NFL jersey is supposed to look like?

I think they might be decent if not for the stupid numbers and letter fonts.

But they still should return to the dreamsicle jerseys.

That CTE shit is BS. These guys have to go through a couple of helmets in a 16 game season.
