This really is the problem with the NBA. No team like this playing like this gets love. Only game changers matter. Kevin Love can't help. Don't get any respect for pride and effort.

I believe that the Bulls need a low post threat more than anything else. Taj has been working on his game but he's not there yet.

Plays for Kings now. We better give him the standing ovation he deserves during the CSFMB game.

I really don't care if the Bulls lose to the Heat. I am a Bulls fan first. But then I root for whoever is playing Miami, so if they lose to the Pacers I'm actually okay with that.

I haven't been able to watch the second half, but the Bulls are blowing the Warriors out. I seem to recall a similar thing happening last year in Chicago.

Taj is doing just what I expected him to do with more time on the floor. There is absolutely no fucking reason he should not be starting for the Bulls. He's currently their 2nd best player.

Two things. One, I will never let anyone on this board forget what I said about the hidden Taj that was held down. I stated it very clearly on this board in recent times.

Two, laughing my ass off that Mac said he was going on 250 for the Warriors. Not sure if he did with show pot or just talk but...

I don't know about 50. I had them about 45 or so, which is what they did last year.

you mean they won again? sigh. how can you guys do this? this is fucking torture.... i realize our coach is thibodeau and thus he's gonna get coachy coaching (is he better than skiles officially/yet?) up all these bums into 3-4/MLE type guys and then they're gonna go, and he's gonna grind and joakim noah will come out and scream WE'RE NOT FUCKING LOSERS, OK GUYS, WE DO THIS FOR THE *REAL FANS* WHO DON'T WANT US TO LOSE!!!!! and blah blah blah blha thank god he holstered his guns cuz no less than 5 more kids are alive in the city of chicago today because they weren't shot dead by guys who would have used guns to kill them if only they were influenced by their idol joakim noah with his dual sixshooters.

yeah it's just torture man.... i so thought the bulls could finally pull another 2007-08 type seaosn where they miss the playoffs by a few games and the NBA rigs them a top-5 pick and we get a proper running mate for derrick who can perhaps swing the franchise around and give us something to truly cheer for, but NOOOOOOOOOO none of that "loser shit" nope instead we gotta set the franchise back another 3-4 years at least by grinding out that 3 seed in the east with no expectations of winning a goddamn thing (except maybe the arsenal 3rd/4th place trophy, ask zizou or kissrules73 about that =) and then rose will come back next year and be 1/3 of the payroll and they wont even amnesty boozer cuz the thought will be MAN WE WERE 48-34 WITHOUT DERRICK LAST YEAR, IMAGINE IF HE COMES BACK..... THE HEAT WILL TREMBLE IN FEAR!!!! and then yeah.... shoot. we're fucked.

this is NBA hell, and if we didnt realize we were in it the second after the heat closed out that 2011 NBA playoff ECF 4-1, well at least we know it now. this is the essence of NBA hell.... where you know your team has no chance, but is fundamentally set up good enough to unclutchly not-suck when you need to bite the fucking bullet and literally put the suck into sucking it up and get yourself a potnetial franchise player because EVEN AT THE HEIGHT OF HIS POWERS AND/OR WITH TWO KNEES DERRICK ROSE WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE THE #2 GUY ON A BONAFIDE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER TEAM. he was not and is not nor will he ever be "the #1 guy" on a team that contends for a NBA title.

and man, is it fair to say that we'd all rather have gotten john wall than derrick rose now? anyone got thoughts on that, or did my paragraphs of angst scare you off? =D

This was a great win. 20 points from Gibson off the bench. 19 for Butler. 17 for Hinrich on 7-8 from the field. 16 for Dunleavy. Hard to believe that this was the same team that laid an egg last Sunday against Miami. But since then they've won 3 in a row including 2 on the road.

Early in the game it looked like Dallas was going to pull away. The Bulls were down 12 at the end of one quarter and then they won the game by 9 points. Obviously if the Bulls don't turn the ball over 20 times they probably win by 15 or 20 points. Butler missed some free throws, but I got the feeling that was mostly because his legs were tired.

The Bulls lost by 22 points at home in the last matchup, so this was a big win on the road. Believe it or not when the Bulls are efficient offensively they can play with anyone in the regular season. Taj Gibson is playing out of his mind. He is more aggressive offensively than he has ever been at any point in his career.

Taj post game is really improving. He's almost a threat.

If Taj didn't play like he did the Bulls lose tonight. He had 20 points, but some of those were free throws that he earned by asserting his will on the opponent.

For the people who say Taj should start I would just suggest that Boozer is playing the Bogans role of no 2nd or 4th quarter action. When Taj, Boozer and Noah are playing on top of their game their front court is as good as just about any in the league.

Where the Bulls sink or swim is with players like Hinrich, Butler, Dunleavy and Augustin. Augustin has played poorly lately, but Hinrich has stepped up his game. One of Butler's main weapons is his free throw shooting. Dunleavy has been inconsistent and has had too many 3-9 type games, but he seems to be coming on lately. I know there are probably some who might disagree but I think in some ways the Bulls have played better without Deng.

They are playing great after losing their 2 best offensive weapons.

Deng was a bad dribbler. Plus he had a tendency to shoot too many threes at times. Certainly he was an above average player, but he never rose to a no. 2 player on a championship team. If he was such a dominant player the Bulls should have beaten the 76ers in the playoffs after Rose went down. He's played well for the Cavs, but even he couldn't get that team out of the lottery.

As for Rose, he wasn't exactly tearing it up when he came back from his injury. Rose is like a Russell Westbrook guard that drives too much. It's too bad the Bulls signed Rose to a long term deal because they don't have enough flexibility to sign other players since the contract is for another 3 years after this year.

Can we declare the Knicks the worst team in the NBA yet? They made today's game hard to watch, for the 10 minutes I watched.

Milwaukee by record followed by Philadelphia, which is slightly unfair because Milwaukee does play pretty hard and Philadelphia lost two games in a row by more than 40 points recently. You have to think they're both tanking at this point.

Tonight was a disappointing game. The one thing about the NBA is that you have regular season letdowns with the back-to-back games, but in the playoffs you get a day or in some cases two days off between games. So having tired legs only matters in the regular season.

Is that what they are doing? I thought they mixed the WNBA with the NBA teams. Thanks for clearing that up.

Exciting game so far today. So much for Dan Bernstein saying Butler can't bother James. 2-7 for 4 points in the first half. However, Wade has gone for 17 points so far. The Bulls offense has looked bad, but maybe they can turn it around in the 2nd half.

Sure won't happen in a 7 game series but these guys have pride and are playing the end of this game.
