I would love to see more NASCAR drivers like Stewart & Gordon among others run in the Indy 500.

I think this is kinda douchey. Can't race 1100 miles in one day and be at your peak. may not even be safe. if Danica is a show, this is worse.

Has he ever raced open-wheel?

He's no Robby Gordon. I miss Robby.

Yeah, if he would have missed every other car I am sure they would have appreciated it also.

Kurt Busch doesn't play well in traffic. I expect him to be wrecked out by Lap 50. Plenty of time for the plane ride back to Charlotte for the 600.

Isn't Kurt kind of a big boy for that car?

There is plenty of room for his body. Gonna have to squeeze in his temper.(And his ego)

Does he have any experience in an open wheel car? Usually its the open wheel guys that go Nascar not the other way around.

Kurt has done testing sessions in Indy cars. I believe he has the talent and capability to run open wheels. Also the ability to take the Indianapolis turns at 220 mph. Just think his brain chemistry will betray him at the wrong time.

I think Kurt knows that this may be his last chance. I predict that he will be a good citizen this year.

Open wheel racing is struggling to draw fans to races so having big name NASCAR drivers race at Indy is good for them.
