Not all time but until today I haven't heard him having a Walton passing type year.

As much as I dislike Dan Bernstein, I think he is right about Noah's role on this team. He is an excellent passer no doubt. But the reason why most centers don't get assists is that they don't get the ball anywhere near the middle of the court where they could pass to the other players. They tend to get it on the block where they can post up. The lack of a great point guard is why they are running offense through Noah near the top of the key. If Noah is on the Miami Heat or the Clippers they probably wouldn't even throw him the ball.

Couple more T-D's against terrible teams and I may put him as the best player of all time on any team.

Augustine is a better PG than Rose. Fact is this Bulls offense is better when it goes through Noah.

Augustin has gone through a bad stretch as of recently. But he's able to play well when the opposing team doesn't trap him too much. Augustine is not better than Rose's MVP season, but Rose has only had 1 season like that in his career.

I think Rose messed up his knees because he played out of control. As much as it's exciting to watch a small player drive to the hoop and dunk, sometimes it's better to have a perimeter player who can pass and hit jumpers. The Bulls don't know what kind of player they have and Gar/Pax gave him too long of a deal after one good season without knowing he would be this injured.

I'm not saying Augustine is a better player because he isn't. I am saying he plays the position better than Rose.

Yes, and among his other great qualities, Thibs seems to have a talent for getting the most out of point guards. Everyone they've had has succeeded when Rose is out.

I think I would agree about that. Rose is not a point guard even though he has the ball a lot. Currently Augustin is better because he's still on the floor. We don't really know if Rose is going to be any good honestly though. He's probably not going to be that MVP player. And if he doesn't work on his jump shot he's going to get injured again.

I'll ignore any list that doesn't list Scottie at #2

Sorry,I'll go with the guy averaging 24-26 pts. a game every time. Love went up against some HOF types in his era. He was a great scorer and not bad at D either.

This thread was something.

I think bigfan was being fed info on Long Lucley.
I am not an NBA guy, but Lucley had at least one HOF player on the court with him pretty much all the time.
