Giangreco is going to join the boys at 11AM on Tuesdays.

...and unnecessary programming move imho.

I don't mind it, I like Giangreco and in general the sports department guys do well on the radio - it lets them editorialize more.

I wonder how Corey McPherrin felt about Silvy saying Giangreco is "our favorite sports anchor?" :lol:

I like the move as well- I think Giangreco is a pretty funny guy-
AND I like this new Bears guessing game- pretty interesting to see where the other team mates have ended up.

I assume this was the programming announcement they were teasing. I thought they'd announce thier show would be 9-1 with the last hour being a best of segment. This Giangreco announcement is a pleasant suprise. I like it.

After listening to Giangreco alienate 90% of Silvy's listenership today, I stand by my original opinion on this programming move.

Much like Chris Berman - Giangreco has jumped the shark. He was 'cool and clever' when many of us didn't know any better.

C-McPherrin is where it's at.

I'll give Giangreco the benefit of the doubt, especially since I always thought he'd be a good host.

Tuesday's segment really was that bad. And I'm usually not as negative about the Chicago sports radio as most people here are.

Giangreco seems to think because he's a TV GUY, he has a built-in fan base - and my perception is that he thinks radio is 'beneath him'.

Actually ESPN1000 is above ABC7 at 190 E State Street.
