Speaking of that.

Zach Bowman was a different player last year when he regained his confidence. I hope it continues this year.

There it is! Yea, we didn't really want him anyways...

Show me where it says I wanted Bennett. Why are Packer fans so annoying?

Once again, I make Bears fans look good.

Me too. Only guys who seemed to like him a lot were Bucky and Scorehead

He did. They keep bringing Kelvin Hayden back though so he's going to have a hard time winning the nickel job.

I am thinking same. Like Alabama. The Oregon kid would be a reach.

You guys missed my point. I am not saying Carrier was Ronnie Lott. I would just like a safety at #14 that is in the hall of very good for 8 years.

I would like a 1st round pick to be in the hall of very good. Since Urlacher:

2001 8 David Terrell Wide Receiver Michigan
2002 29 Marc Colombo Offensive tackle Boston College
2003 14 Michael Haynes Defensive end Penn State [v]
2003 22 Rex Grossman Quarterback Florida [v]
2004 14 Tommie Harris Defensive tackle Oklahoma
2005 4 Cedric Benson Half Back Texas
2006 — No Pick — — [w]
2007 31 Greg Olsen Tight End Miami
2008 14 Chris Williams Offensive tackle Vanderbilt
2009 — No Pick — — [x]
2010 — No Pick — — [x]
2011 29 Gabe Carimi Offensive tackle Wisconsin
2012 19 Shea McClellin Defensive end Boise State
2013 20 Kyle Long Offensive tackle Oregon

Long looks to be the best bet.

And I think injuries is why he fell to 14.

Yes but when he played he was beyond good. Perhaps the best dt in the league.

While Denver focuses on DeMarcus Ware…Vikings free-agent DE Jared Allen is talking with the Bears and Seattle Seahawks, per league source.

If I'm Allen, why would I even consider a club that couldn't handle Christian Ponder and the rest of the high powered Vikings offense? He's got first hand knowledge of the Bears' buffoonery (kicking on third down).

What's up with the Falcons releasing Safety Thomas Decoud? He was a tackling machine a couple of years ago. Injuries?

Greg Olsen maybe has a chance to be in the HOVG.

Matt Forte is clearly their best top pick since #54

Better than Briggs or Tillman? He's their best offensive player since Walter?

He's probably their best offensive draft pick since Sweetness.

Briggs and Tillman weren't #1 picks were they? Forte was #1, second round but still the Bears first pick.

I can't read. I thought they drafted Olsen that year too.

The guy after Walter was pretty good too. Faster than Forte.

Neil Anderson was everything that Forte has been so far.

Longevity will decide who was better.

Another 2 typical Forte years and there would be no question who was better. Though Neal had 1-2 outstanding years. He would put his head down if need be.
