I have a question and any info would be appreciated about opening an online betting account. I have one already, just was contacted today from a family member about opening one.

I was just wondering if anything has changed recently, because I have been to some sites when you sign up, you have to Fax things to them, I know the websites want a lot of info, because I'm at Sportsintercation, besides social security number, they wanted copies of credit cards front and back, also copies of bills I think, just like at the BMV. I was wondering has anything changed, do they need more.

I know some people don't like to give out a lot of info, so I also thought he could just give me the money and I could place the wager, if that would be easier.

I wish you could just give a credit card number and leave it that, but banks and the government didn't like that, of course I don't know what it's like at other sites for deposting money, but at my site it just takes it from the bank account.

Thanks for any info.

Betus.com just wants your deposit. No documents required.

A lot has changed. Send your thanks to George Bush, Mark Kirk, nearly all the Republican members of Congress 4 years ago and some Democrats who supported the UIGEA (internet gambling enforcement act). The banks were threatened by the Bush Treasury dept. with strict rules. Congress has not yet changed the law and the Treasury hasn't changed the requirements for banks and credit card companies.

BetUS doesn't require papers? Want to know why? Because they know they will never actually send money back to you. Try cashing out 5 or even 4 figures from BUS. Tell us how that works out for you.

Thanks for the info, I did go to Betus, to check it out, signed up and put the minimun deposit in, it worked. Of Course with Coast to Coast info, that doesn't sound good.

I will give him some info and throwout if he wants to pay me and I can make the play for him, get paid quicker.

Have heard some bad stories from various people about cashing out from Bodog and WSEX, they told them 4 weeks, then never sent the money. Both ended up crediting the guys account.

I assume Washington will not get the 73.5 Wins , which was the O/U on them this year, thus I have $550 to win $500 they go UNDER and will be requesting a withdraw

I have had maybe 15 different on screen books over the years. There are 4 which I have had no prblems or delays. One, Pinny, is not an option for most US players. The other three are Greek, Cris/Bookmaker and Matchbook. I Play at those three or off screen. I'm sure others have had positive experiences at other books. I have too, including Wsex and bodog for a time, but one negative experience cash out and I don't give them a 2nd chance.

If you are playing online, and matchbook isn't one of your outs, then you are doing yourself a disservice.

Bumping this, I kind a stopped wagering, but thought about doing some today, is there a website where you can play anymore, 2 I have done before say they can't do my region, I guess America.

I thought about making plays for some over-unders for baseball season and I can do that for a website, have to email some stuff, I got no problem with that, but wouldn't be ready for today.

I wish Vegas had a site where you could make plays there, and help keep the money here, and we don't have to go to Vegas.

The popular thing now is to find a local, who has a website. You make the plays on the website, all on credit. You and your guy establish a certain number, and if you hit that positive or negative, you square up.

Keep the banks and Uncle Sam out of it.

That is a good idea Chus about the local, at least make it easier to wager.

My idea if Vegas had a sportsbook website, I think they would make a killing, easier with the payouts for people in America.

If you ever get into Horse Racing, there are 3 major betting accounts....TVG, Xpressbet, and Twinspires....in my opinion, I like xpressbet the best. Try them all out because they generally have some new customer incentive like "Bet $100 in 30 days, get additional 100" or something like that.

JORR can probably tell you more.

They are working on it. I think if you live in NV, you can wager online legally.

Really need the New Jersey sports wagering case to get a ruling from SCOTUS, but guessing they won't hear the case. It is a states' rights case though, so there's a chance they'll go for it. If that fails, then you need a federal law passed to allow it/tax it, and what's the relative priority of that when the black market is feeding the need pretty well on its own.
