Well, RPB, you have found yourself a new radio home. Enjoy!

Im just pointing out that you're very old school

No one else would have taken that as a joke about the video games. The Nintendo generation is now 35-45 years old

I just don't get why people accept this dude as being part of the future of sports radio in this city. Or as being talented or interesting.

Well if that is what your age wants to listen to they will be a huge success.

BTW, how many hours of sports talk listening have you put in so far this week RPB?

my point exactly. your generation doesn't sit around listening to radios anyway.

From 2002-2012, I listened to a few hours a day and often times more.

Look, you had a bad thought or one I dont agree with. It's ok. I have my own PTFB topics.

It was not a bad thought. Those guys were desperately grasping at straws trying to come up with something. The whole concept of "call in and tell us your favorite XXX" is totally lame. I don't care if it was video games or 1950s starlets. I cannot think of any subject that would be interesting with.

Who did that more than anyone?

Also, who is the most successful sports radio host in this city's history?

HINT: Same guy

Believe he has a decent gig now, but my point remains.

You might hate the "light em up" technique but it has an unmistakable part in sports radio history

Maybe you should try a different type of radio

No video games in your youth?

grew up with Atari 2600, which is still the pinnacle of video gaming systems. after that I pretty much spent my time memorizing baseball stats and listening to Coppock on Sports.

Now I play some kids games on my wife's iPhone. Always preferred the basic "reflex" games. shoot the target kind of thing.

I play Madden for 6 months and The Show for the other 6

that shit is like crack cocaine to kids. seriously. we don't have a gaming system, they play web-based things. I can see it in their eyes, they would kill you if it meant unlimited game playing.

Yes, I have to put strict time limits on my daughter's games.

Great thing about young kids is if they hear a buzzer or a beep they think "well that's final"

First of all...funny line about playing the music. Second of all...credentials for talking sports? Since when does anyone need credentials for that. Now what you should have asked is "what the fuck are his credentials for talking on the radio?"

Great, you have radio credentials. You slaved for Mac for your entire adult life. That's something a person can proudly tell themselves when they look in the mirror, isn't it? Your problem, dipshit, is that you are UN-interesting. You have ZERO personality. Your thoughts are inane and more befitting a rambling psychotic than a functioning member of a human society. Look guy, not everyone is meant to be a talk show host. You and your demented colleagues (fellow produces and engineers) seem to believe there is this magical linear tree that you all can climb to be the next Dan MacNeil. Mayhap you have a career in the radio business in sales or as a future PD (though such a thought should initiate a spell of dry heaving in any but the most severely mentally challenged). I wish you luck but I will tell you this slowly: YOU. FUCKING. SUCK. AT. BEING. A. HOST.

I love you for using the word "mayhap"

Don't be such a dickhead to a fellow Boardsman.
