Well the Big XII teams are getting pretty high seeds so far...so maybe my dream for a 2 will be rewarded...

...Creighton and Syracuse both get a 3? When did they fill out this bracket, Thursday?

I'd say lesson 1 we learned today is, if you are going to politic the committee, be upfront about it:

Case 1, Louisville: Pitino says they are a 1 seed, but he's not going to politic for it...he's going to say it on national TV, but no, he's not politicking. Result: 4 seed

NCAA Committee:
Pitino:

Case 2, North Carolina St. : Coach K does the work for them and says that the ACC teams should get in. Says he'll probably get in trouble for saying it but does so anyways. Result: NC State is in

NCAA Committee:
Coach K:
Larry Brown:

 these commentators are hillarious. First they go on about Louisville being a 4 seed and then they proclaim that Mich St may be the best #4 seed in a long time.

The Louisville team from almost a decade ago that was a four seed was the best four seed there's been for a while...pretty sure that team made it to the Final Four without much fuss.

It's almost like everyone's love fest with the Big Ten never wore off...

...I'm really hoping Iowa State gets a chance to avenge the 2000 Midwest regional final...

Wasn't Melo's Syracuse team a 4 seed too?

For fucks sake don't even bother playing the tournament...apparently Michigan State is the greatest team ever assembled...just listened to all five people on ESPNs bracketology special pick them to win the title.

Some gems:

Digger Phelps: MSU beats Florida because of experience...Tom Izzo...(apparently Billy Donovan just started coaching last week)

Jason Williams: I think this is the year for Michigan State (said it like they haven't won it before)

I'll take some solace that all five also had Iowa State playing them in the Elite 8.

yeah the MSU love is CRAZY.

Herb has MSU winning the whole thing with both MSU and Wisconsin in the final four.

People crazy.

I'm telling you, it's 2013 all over again...I'm shocked I haven't seen anyone with an all Big Ten final four yet...

Who's got who for the final four? I'm going with Florida, Iowa State, Louisville, and Arizona. But I've watched like 7 basketball games all year.

I'm rooting for Wichita St to win it all. It would be cool seeing an undefeated season. If they lose ill root for Iowa St or Michigan St.

Very homerish but glancing at it a few times and I'm not sure I can pick it any other way...
