Crowds are one of the weirdly awesome things about next gen sports games. The Show is supposed to have 1000 different crowd models on PS4 compared to 42on the old PS3.

Don't forget they added the feature that you can now continue your RTTS saves across the years so you can start a player this year and keep playing that same player each new game year.

Underwhelmed in the draft showcase thingy with 2 hits and a walk in all the games. Ended up the 1st pick in the 3rd round to the Astros. At least their minor league team is good I guess.

My 3B was called up to AAA after 2 1/2 months. Seemed about right, my OVR was better than the guy in AAA. In the Astros system you never have to go far, Corpus Christi in AA, to OKC in AAA, to Houston. OKC is the the same PCL division as Iowa so I'll be up against some Cubs soon.

Need to figure out what my RTTS pitcher is going to throw. Knuckleballer, generic fastball/curve/change guy, or fastball/sinker/slider power pitcher. Still have my 30k gamestop preorder training points to use, but want to be sure I like the player before I invest the points.

I haven't really purchased the new game since '11 on the PS2... in fact, I'm still playing it.

I like to give my pitchers a 4 seam, runner or cutter, something with some kind of drop (palmball, cir change, or splitter) and then either the big sweeping curve or the 12-6. I never really liked the slider for whatever reason.

I could never really get into a RTTS pitcher. Tried a couple times...just isn't as engaging. Not sure why...maybe the lack of "big moments."

Pitching has it's good points. Get a nice groove going when you pitch a whole game. No swing 3 times and watch loading screens for just as long as you just played.

Started the pitcher. Took a liner off the face in the 2nd inning of my second start and broke my nose. Decided to go play the position player instead. They must use different baseballs in AAA. After 40 games in AA with no errors at 3rd, I have 8 assists and 5 errors in AAA for a sparkling .615 fielding %.

I enjoy the swinging strikeouts, and I hate playing defense... And getting out of jams is a good feeling.

I usually go curve, 2-seamer, and maybe slider.

I like the right to left movement with the 2-seamer on right handlers and the left to right slider movement inside also with right handlers... Good shit

The pure analog addition a few years back also made pitching much more like you were in control...

I just threw a perfect game and my offense didn't do shit, got a perfect tenth, offense scores 2, get through 2 outs in the 11th and I fucking walk a guy... Fuck this shit
